I've worked out in gyms for over twenty years and I have to honestly say that no piece of equipment or workout class comes close to helping you get the results you can get from this powerful 90 day workout. The Achievable Body If you follow Tony Horton's instruction on the DVD's that come with this program, there is no way that you won't see results after the 90 days are completed. The key component to Tony Horton's 90 day workout is something called muscle confusion. It's as simple as not letting your muscles get too used to the same set of exercises over and over again.

When you start P90X, you do the first set of DVD's over a three week period, then you take a "rest" week which doesn't mean you do nothing; you just do a lighter workout for that week. Starting the fourth week, you do another set of workouts for the next three weeks, take another rest week, and finish up the 90 day program with a combination of what the previous two months consisted of.

I have to be honest, it wasn't easy starting P90X. I considered myself to be in pretty decent shape. My husband actually worked out consistently for three weeks prior to starting P90X so that he would be ready for the program.

One of the biggest pieces of advice that I can give anyone starting or considering starting this 90 day program is to not stop and give up. Do what you can and modify the exercises in the beginning in order to make it through the workout. For instance, one of the workouts called Back and Chest consists of a lot of push ups. When I started this workout, push ups just weren't my thing. http://theachievablebodyblueprintreview.com/ I could only do twelve and they weren't that pretty! So, I would do what I could, then do the rest on my knees.
