PHILADELPHIA -- Dont rule Michael Vick out just yet. Pablo Armero Colombia Jersey . Two days after injuring his left hamstring, Vick was back on the field Tuesday. He threw and jogged, though he didnt participate in team drills during practice. "I was surprised I was able to throw and throw with such velocity," Vick said. "I feel a lot better than I did on Sunday. Sunday was kind of agonizing. It was tough. It was tough to deal with but Im glad with where Im at today." Vick left late in the second quarter of Philadelphias 36-21 win at the New York Giants after pulling his hamstring running out of bounds on a 13-yard scramble. Nick Foles came in and threw two touchdowns, sparking a debate over who should start for the Eagles (2-3) this week at Tampa Bay (0-4). If Vick is healthy, hes the No. 1. But coach Chip Kelly left open the possibility that Foles could win the job if he plays and performs well. "My expectation is to work great (in practice), get a lot of work in, study the film, and whatever it is on Sunday, Ill be ready," Foles said. Vick was excellent in the first two games, but his production dropped in the next three. Hes thrown for 1,185 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions, and has 307 yards rushing and two more scores. "You dont want to put yourself in a position where you cant get back out there for two or three weeks," Vick said. "Were playing it smart. The coaches told me to come out and do whatever I could. I came out and threw the ball just to get a feel for what I could do. I know my body better than anybody else. You dont want to strain it. "You dont want to do anything to make the injury worse." Foles has 246 yards passing, three scores, zero interceptions and a 122.4 passer rating in parts of two games. A third-round pick last year, Foles was 1-5 as a starter last season after Vick sustained a concussion in November. His only win was on the road against the Buccaneers. "Its kind of disheartening when you cant be out there and playing," Vick said. "But the good thing is weve got a good backup who will be able to step in and do a great job with this team, and weve got a lot of players who believe in themselves and each other. "So, thatll take us a long way." The biggest difference between Vick and Foles besides mobility is efficiency in the red zone. Vick is 5 for 19 for 38 yards and one score inside the opponents 20. Foles is 2 of 3 for 11 yards and two touchdowns. "When you look at it, theres not quite large enough sample size to see any trends," offensive co-ordinator Pat Shurmur said. "I just think its a mixture of things. We cant have penalties. Weve got to do a better job of throwing and catching, and then of course in critical areas in the field, weve got to do a better job protecting." After snapping a three-game losing streak to AFC West opponents, the Eagles are tied for first place with Dallas in a weak NFC East in which the teams are 5-14 combined. The Eagles already won at Washington and at New York, and host Dallas in two weeks. ---- NOTES: WR DeSean Jackson isnt concerned about going against three-time All-Pro CB Darrelle Revis on Sunday. "I dont think he can run with me. I dont think hes as fast as me," Jackson said. "It will be a challenge. Hes a great player. Nothing to take away from him. Im focused on what we have to do here, which is win a football game. Were not going to make it into a one-on-one battle, me versus Revis. Its the Eagles versus Tampa Bay. At the end of that game, as long as were winning, thats all that matters to me." ... Tampa Bay has scored just 24 points in two home games. Victor Ibarbo Jersey . Didier Drogba gave away the penalty that put Senegal one goal away from a major upset, but the veteran striker will get another chance -- probably his last -- at the World Cup after Salomon Kalous injury-time strike sealed the Ivorians place in Brazil next year. Johan Mojica Colombia Jersey . Breaking three of his own world records on his way to winning in Paris, Chan silenced the critics and left the audiences standing in appreciation and awe.

His little bloop dropped in perfectly for the Boston Red Sox. Carps pinch-hit floater dropped just beyond the glove of Baltimore third baseman Manny Machado in the eighth inning, scoring Jarrod Saltalamacchia from second with the tiebreaking run and lifting the Red Sox to a 4-3 win over the Orioles on Wednesday night. "Sometimes its all about placement," he said, breaking into a smile. "I didnt get a lot of it, but its a funny game. You can hit a ball hard, guys were hitting the balls hard, but right at people. It just takes just one little squibber, one little jam shot to seal the deal." The AL East-leading Red Sox continued their run from last to first with another final at-bat win. It was the 20th time in their 79 wins that theyve gone ahead in their final turn at the plate. Last season, the Red Sox were last in the division with 69 wins. "This is a group that knows how to play with the game situation thats in front of them," Boston manager John Farrell said. "They love to compete and love to work on any given day. I think this is the 30th time weve come from behind to win and it kind of shows the grit and character thats been with this team all year." Shane Victorino drove in a run for Boston with an RBI single after collecting a career-best seven RBIs and hitting two homers in a 13-2 win on Tuesday night. Craig Breslow (4-2) got two outs to earn the win and Koji Uehara got his 14th save with a perfect ninth for Red Sox, who won their fourth straight. Chris Davis hit his major league-leading 47th homer and added an RBI double for Baltimore, which lost for the sixth time in its last eight games. Saltalamacchia hit a two-out double high off the left-field wall against Tommy Hunter (3-3) and Stephen Drew was walked intentionally before Carps bloop fell just past the glove of Machado in short left field. The Red Sox rallied against Baltimores bullpen, tying it 3-3 on Dustin Pedroias two-run single off Darren ODay in the seventh. Jacoby Ellsbury barely beat a throw to the plate, sliding in before a sweeping tag attempt by Matt Wieters. "Its not necessarily one that got away," Baltimore manager Buck Showalter said. "They just dumped one in over there." Ellsbury left the game for a defensive replacement in the top of the eighth. During his seventh inning at-bat, he fouled a ball off his right foot. Farrell said an exam at the park was negative. "Ill be in there tomorrow," Ellsbury said. "It didnt feel good at all, but obviously it was a big part of the game. I wanted to be in sccoring position to come around and score the run. Pablo Armero Jersey. . It hit me on the foot. I wear a shin guard and it hit the top of the foot between the shin guard." With the Orioles leading 2-1 in the sixth, Davis belted a leadoff homer into Bostons bullpen. The Orioles had grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first on Davis RBI double into the right-field corner after Machado singled. They made it 2-0 in the third on Machados homer over the Green Monster. Baltimore starter Bud Norris held Boston to one run and four hits, striking out seven and walking four over 5 1-3 innings. He was pulled after 105 pitches. "Sometimes you look into it, sometimes you dont," he said of the number of pitches he made. "Tonight it definitely affected me." Bostons John Lackey lasted 7 1-3 innings, giving up three runs on seven hits, striking out four and walking one. The Red Sox cut it to 2-1 on Victorinos RBI single in the third, but they left the bases loaded when David Ortiz struck out swinging and Daniel Nava was called out on strikes. Ortiz, mired in a 0-for-18 slump, flew out to the left-field track twice in four at-bats. After the second one, which was caught in the corner for the final out of the fifth, he stood at first base for a while, looking toward the outfield before slowly walking to the dugout and slamming his helmet.
