The New Jordans 2017 is a brand new colorway of the classic Air Jordan 8 that will be debuting in August 2017. Using the inspiration from the Air Jordan 11, which was the first time Jordan Brand used “Cool Grey” on an Air Jordan.Today Jordan Brand unveils an official look at a few upcoming releases for Fall 2017, which include two all-new editions of the Air Jordan 8. Michael Jordan’s 1993 model that was worn while he completed his first Three-Peat with the Chicago Bulls borrows two favorite colorways of Air Jordan history: “Cool Grey” from the Air Jordan 11 and “Cement” from the Air Jordan 4.The Jordan 8 Cool Grey will release on June 20th for $190 USD, introducing the 1993 silhouette to the classic greyscale look with premium suede and accents of Cool Grey, Wolf Grey, and Black throughout. A preview of this coming Jordan 8 came courtesy of Air.Jordan.com earlier today, but they made sure to let us know that this was a look at one of the final samples before pairs go into production for this general release.
A new colorway of the 2017 Air Jordan Shoes will be releasing this year in the form of a cool grey finish. This classic hue first debuted on the Air Jordan 11 back in 2001 and followed the next year on the Air Jordan 4.Dressed in a Cool Grey and Wolf Grey color scheme. This Air Jordan 8 features Grey tones throughout the entire upper, with little hints of White on the midsole and tongue. A nod to when the Air Jordan 8 originally debuted, the year “1993” is displayed on the heel tab.The Air Jordan 8 is having a sleepy good year for Jordan Brand. While the “Alternate” colorway may have been a little bit underwhelming, there’s no doubt that the “Take Flight” look inspired by the iconic UNDFTD x Air Jordan 4 was a success. Up next is any combination of the Drake and Kentucky co-signed OVO x Air Jordan 8 “Calipari Pack” and the lifestyle-ready Air Jordan 8 “Cool Grey”. Jordan Brand isn't waiting for its latest retro to leak. Instead, the brand is getting ahead of early photos by putting out a GIF of the Air Jordan 8 "Cool Grey" pictured here, a shoe it says is releasing in the fall.
Nike KD 10 For Sale is beating the independent sneakerheads and leaks at their own game a bit by revealing Air Jordan 8 “Cool Grey” months in advance. Introduced on the brand’s official air.jordan.com blog, the new look marks the first time an all-grey AJ8 has been produced. True to other well-received “Cool Grey” Jumpman kicks like Air Jordan 11 in 2001 and Air Jordan 4 in 2004, this one features a grey and white combo, only going with suede appointments.Jordan Brand will be releasing a Cool Grey version of the Air Jordan 8 for the upcoming Summer 2017 line up. The Air Jordan 8 will feature a Cool Grey upper alongside Wolf Grey accents to compliment the grey AJ8 theme. Hits of white are slapped on the shoe, with 1993 added on the pull loop. This pair comes dressed in a combination of Cool Grey and Wolf Grey. Shades of Grey run throughout the upper, while White accents appear on the tongue and midsole. Also seen is “1993” on the heel tab.

Sitting at 13th overall in this month’s draft with an already stacked rotation that needs to be thinned out before next season, the Nuggets have a bevy of options when it comes to their first round selection.

Consolidating assets while moving up near the top 5 to draft a player like Jonathan Isaac, someone who would fit well next to Nikola Jokic is the gold medal move but something that doesn’t seem too likely or possible at this juncture. Drafting a fringe lottery talent at 13, who would likely sit behind Malik Beasley and Darrell Arthur at the end of Denver’s bench while bouncing back and forth between another organization’s D League affiliate is another option, albeit a less appealing and more likely one.

But if Denver finds themselves at 13, with the likes of Indiana’s OG Anunoby off the board — the last prospect likely available in that range that would provide enough value to Denver to warrant a selection — the Nuggets should entertain a scenario in which they trade back in the first round, pick up or unload an additional asset and still get a player they like.

It seems like the Nuggets could be aligning themselves to that strategy more and more as this week they hosted two prospects likely to be selected in the 20’s; Terrance Ferguson, a Dallas native who played last season in Australia and T.J. Leaf, a stretch four out of UCLA.

Ferguson, who we profiled earlier this week https://www.uclabasketballjersey.com/aaron-holiday-jersey-c-3.html, is a long term play and a rangy, athletic wing who could develop into a prototypical 3 and D rotation player in due time. But Leaf, who’s slated to go 21st in DraftExpress’ latest mock could be a target as well.

At nearly 6 10 in shoes with a 6 11 wingspan, Leaf has the size to play the stretch four position at the next level. He’s not the quickest prospect in the draft, can’t jump the highest he did log a healthy 34.5″ max vertical at the draft combine Alex Olesinski Jersey, but does possess the basketball IQ and awareness necessary on offense to flourish at the next level.

Leaf’s an unselfish player in the halfcourt, someone who looks to make the extra pass and always tries to find a way to get others involved.

“At UCLA we liked to move the ball. We like to cut, we like to run and that’s what the Nuggets do,” Leaf said after his workout in Denver Friday. “They give you the freedom to make the pass and that’s what I do well. I like making that pass and you see Jokic, who’s kind of the catalyst for it, a great passer and he’d be just a ton of fun to play with.”

As a team, the Nuggets averaged 25.2 assists per game last season. That was the fifth best mark in the league and a number that’s likely to increase next season with Jokic at the helm for a full year.

But don’t sell Leaf short as just a distributor on offense. He averaged 16.3 points per game on a loaded Bruins squad and shot 46.6 percent 27 58 from beyond the arc last season. Leaf projects as a role player who can stretch the defense out to the three point line, and could add some more firepower off the bench to an already potent Nuggets’ offense.

Leaf won’t wow you on the defensive end, won’t be counted on to buckle down and get stops at least in his rookie season https://www.uclabasketballjersey.com/lonzo-ball-jersey-c-2.html, but Denver can address their needs on defense in free agency where they could have upwards of 35 million to spend just to get to the salary cap floor. The 20 year old, who was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, would fill defined role in Denver from day one.

“I think when my game develops I’ll be able to play a little bit more positions, but I think coming in I’ll be a stretch four,” Leaf said.

Juancho Hernangomez, who Denver selected at 15th overall last season has a higher ceiling than Leaf and more tools in his toolbox in terms of two way ability, but you can never have enough versatile threes and fours who can threaten a defense from distance.

“I play basketball the right way and I try to make the right plays. That’s a big part of my game,” Leaf said. “I think a lot of people are starting to see that I make the right plays. I’m a good facilitator and scorer so I’m not just a one dimensional player. I can do a lot of things.”

A high basketball IQ is the most important skill set in today’s NBA. Offenses and defenses are running at lightning quick speeds for 48 minutes and players need to know how to read and react in certain situations on both ends of the floor in a split second’s time. Leaf won’t come into the league as a good defender and would likely be an enormous minus on that end of the floor in his rookie season. But he’s surprisingly quick with decent length.

He’d be a smart and logical target for Denver if they do decide to trade down in the first round come June 22.

With the 2017 NBA Draft just two weeks away, the Raptors front office has been busy. Searching for the player that the organization would like to select with the 23rd pick has kept both front office and coaching staff working as the team hosts workouts to try to get a closer look at the players that have intrigued them.

Wednesday’s workout wrapped up three straight days of pre draft workouts this week. The third session featured Florida’s Kasey Hill, Cincinnati’s Troy Cauapin, Wisconsin’s Nigel Hayes, Utah’s Kyle Kuzma, Marquette’s Luke Fischer, Jonathan Jeanne of France and UCLA’s Ike Anigbogu.

While Anigbogu and Jeanne are both players that have been featured in mock drafts near Toronto’s 23rd pick, the team has brought in a wide range of players in the eight workouts to take place in Toronto thus far. With a pick in the latter half of the first round, what the Raptors do could be dependent upon what other teams do and what happens ahead of them in the draft. Getting plenty of faces in to interview and workout is crucial when preparing for draft night.

Dan Tolzman said Wednesday’s workout was one of the most competitive the team has had yet. With the draft inching closer, the grind of the pre draft process has often started to set in for some participants. When dealing with a player that has gone through many workouts, watching how he pushes himself through the actual workout can be the most important part of the session.

As the date draws nearer, that means [players are] getting upwards of five to 15 workouts in, depending on the player, so fatigue is a big part of it at this point https://www.oregonbasketballjersey.com/tyler-dorsey-jersey-c-5.html, Tolzman said. We’ve got to just keep pushing them to give us their best and guys today, they did it.

Kuzma watched a lot of the Raptors this season, rooting on former Utah teammates Delon Wright and Jakob Poeltl. The third year forward said his pre draft experience has been aided by his time at Utah, playing for coach Larry Krystkowiak.

We’re coached well M.J. Cage Jersey, Kuzma said. Coach K and the rest of the staff at Utah do an excellent job at preparing us and getting us ready to play at this level. He played in the NBA and has NBA pedigree and even coached in the league too. He knows how to prepare us with terminology https://www.oregonbasketballjersey.com/charlie-noebel-jersey-c-6.html, just being in this workout, you see a lot of things, defensive coverages, and everything that the Raptors use, we used at Utah too.

Kuzma said he’s spoken with Wright and Poeltl about their pre draft experiences and the duo have both told him to enjoy it.

[They’re] great, great guys https://www.oregonbasketballjersey.com/keith-smith-jersey-c-7.html, that’s the number one thing, Kuzma said of his former teammates. At Utah we had a very real bond and it didn t matter if you were Delon Wright or the lowest walk on. It didn t matter. Everybody was the same. They treated everybody like that too. Very humble guys. Guys that wanted to get better. They treated the game as professionals, as college players, so that’s why they’re here.

Tuesday’s workout was a six player session, featuring JJ Frazier of Georgia, Quentin Hooker of North Dakota, Wesley Iwundu of Kansas State, Hassan Martin of Rhode Island, Devin Robinson of Florida and Paul Watson of Fresno State.

Monday’s session was also another six players in Toronto to workout Duke’s Matt Jones, Gonzaga’s Jordan Matthews, Iowa State’s Matt Thomas, South Carolina’s P.J. Dozier, Chattanooga’s Justin Tuoyo and UNC’s Kennedy Meeks.

Meeks said what he gleaned form the workout from Toronto’s perspective was that the team emphasized attacking the rim and shooting the three. Despite the stress that can accompany the pre draft process, Meeks enjoyed his stop in Toronto.

This is definitely a great organization, Meeks said. The coaching staff are tremendous and the players are kind and nice and you can tell that they play together for sure.

What stood out to Dozier was how the team actually facilitated the workout, opting to show as well as tell in a hands on approach.

They taught a little bit more, Dozier said. Trying to get structure instead of just rolling the ball out there and saying play. I enjoyed that part. I really got to learn how they defend, how they rotate. It was fun.

They don t get right into it, Dozier explained. They break it down first. Teach you the positions, almost like shell, dummy drill, then they roll the ball out there, tell you to play, and if they see something out there that they don’t like they’ll stop and tell you a teaching point.

With the 23rd pick in the draft, the Raptors have the opportunity to take a chance on a player they like, or wait to see if someone that they had pegged higher is still available. These options means getting a lot of players in to workout. As the draft continues to creep closer, the action at BioSteel Centre continues as the team searches for the newest addition to the roster.

Over the course of the summer of 2017 the Nova Notebook, by Mike Sheridan, will offer a series of features on members of the 2017 18 Villanova Wildcats. Up first forward Omari Spellman.

Omari Spellman’s gifts as a basketball player are no mystery. At 6 8, he established himself as one of the elite prospects in his class, a forward with the kind of perimeter skills that earned him a ranking as one of the nation’s top 2016 prospects. The St. Thomas More School product’s decision to sign a letter of intent to attend Villanova was big news and so too was the NCAA ruling last September that he would be an academic redshirt in 2016 17 due to a change of high schools made in ninth grade.

Even now, nearly a full calendar year after he first moved into a Villanova dormitory, the anticipation about how Spellman may impact the Wildcats, a 32 game winning BIG EAST championship unit that finished the regular season as the No. 1 team in America last season, is high. The glimpses Spellman displayed in last summer’s scrimmage prior to the team’s trip to Spain did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm.

Spellman too is eager to begin his Wildcats career.

Yet the 94 by 50 feet of the basketball court isn’t Spellman’s only canvas. The versatility that marks his play on the court can be found off it too. This is a literate young man with an old school blend of interests that helped him embrace a potentially negative circumstance so that, in the end, it became a net plus.

In this case, the setback arrived just as Spellman and classmate Dylan Painter were preparing to depart for New York City to partake in the BIG EAST’s “Freshman Fundamentals”. The NCAA had completed a review of his high school path to college and it was announced on Sept. 23.that he would not be eligible to play in games in 2016 17, though he could practice with the squad. He retained four seasons of athletic eligibility.

It was a blow for both the Wildcats, who were anticipating that Spellman would play a large role in helping to replace 2016 NCAA national champion cornerstone Daniel Ochefu, and, above all, Spellman himself.

“While we don’t agree with the NCAA’s decision, we are members of the association and respect it,” stated VU head coach Jay Wright that day. “We understand why the NCAA felt it had to rule this way. We will make a positive out of this for Omari. He will concentrate on his academics and individual development this season. In the long run Omari will be a better student and player for this experience.” Spellman did all in his power to insure that his coach became a prophet on this subject. He poured his energy into strength training and practice. 4 p.m. game day workouts with assistant coaches Ashley Howard and Kyle Neptune were his chance to shine, albeit in obscurity. Off the court, he immersed himself in the culture of the Villanova community, establishing bonds of friendship across campus while completing a solid year of academic work.

“Not being able to compete at the highest level and showcase what I can do was the biggest challenge for me,” he states now, while seated in the Davis Center cinema. “But it was a great learning experience being around teammates like Kris Jenkins , Josh Hart and Darryl Reynolds and the coaching staff.

“It was definitely hard.”

Asked to gauge his progress over the last 12 months, Spellman says “I definitely understand more of what is to be expected. When you come in as a freshman you expect it to be one way. But there is definitely a big learning curve and adjustment. I think I’ve come to a pretty good understanding of what’s to be expected.”

The senior class of 2017 was particularly impactful in helping Spellman find his way through a redshirt season. Reynolds, who early in his career saw limited in game action, was an important sounding board.

“They helped me a lot,” Spellman notes. “I had a lot of long talks with Darryl. Kris was always giving me snippets when he could. With Josh being the fierce competitor he is, I learned how to play hard by how he competes on a daily basis.”

The sessions in the weight room with strength coach John Shackleton were important too.

“I’m kind of ashamed to say this Phil Booth Jersey,” Spellman states with a smile, “but I could only go up from where I was when I got here. I never lifted in high school. It shocks you when you get here. If you shift your posture a little bit, you are working a completely different muscle than what you were trying to strengthen.

“It’s a lot of technique to take in. Coach Shack brought me up to speed.”

During home games, Spellman was dressed in a suit and tie near the end of the bench. He paid close attention.

“You see how serious games are and how critical every little detail is,” Spellman states. “Sometimes in high school, you could experiment, take shots you normally wouldn’t take. At this level, though, there is very little margin for error. The intensity of the game is one of the things I took away from watching .”

One year into his Villanova experience, Spellman feels very much a part of the campus fabric.

“I made a lot of friends outside of the basketball team https://www.villanovabasketballjersey.com/eric-paschall-jersey-c-4.html,” he states. “I’m a big fan of music so I’ve made friends with people who enjoy all different kinds of music. This is just a great place to be. I love Villanova.”

In the quieter months of summer, with a lighter class schedule, Spellman has a bit more time to engage in other interests. An English major, he is intrigued by the written word and continues to create poetry, an endeavor he became interested in around the age of 12.

“I started to take it more seriously as my thoughts matured,” he explains. “Some of my poetry is very simple, stuff that anyone could say. Now I just try to make it as unique to me as possible.

“I’m more of an emotional writer. If I feel something is wrong or needs to be spoken out on or if something is going on in my life, I can gain pretty quick inspiration for poetry. That’s usually how I like to write.”

And while he’s a willing participant in Madden video game competition with his teammates – he’s not off to a good start in the standings which presently list Mikal Bridges in first place – he has another downtime hobby. Nearly a decade ago he learned the game of chess at a church summer camp and has become an afcionado, often watching clips of legendary Bobby Fischer and current grandmaster Magnus Carlsen on YouTube.

“I definitely study the game,” he says.

In fact, this week he was in the midst of a game with Donte DiVincenzo waged via an app. No winner had been decided as this is written .

Of course, there is an opportunity ahead in another game he is passionate about. And while eager to embrace the full experience of being a Villanova Basketball player, he has embraced the journey, even with its unforeseen detour.

It seems somehow fitting that when asked about his hopes for 2017 18, the answer does not begin with any mention of points, rebounds https://www.villanovabasketballjersey.com/josh-hart-jersey-c-3.html, or minutes. Instead, Spellman takes a longer view.

“I just want to be the best man I can be and continue to improve,” he states. “I know that I’m not going to be perfect. I just want to continue to grow, not only as a basketball player, but a young man, and to help our team be successful.”

A gifted basketball player? For sure. But also a man with a wide spectrum of interests who has enjoyed the opportunity to explore some of them at Villanova..

SACRAMENTO The Kansas Jayhawks showed up in force Wednesday in Sacramento. Point guard Frank Mason III dropped in for his second workout with the Kings. Later in the afternoon, NBC Sports California confirmed that forward Josh Jackson made an appearance at Golden 1 Center for a meeting with the team https://www.kujerseystore.com/udoka-azubuike-jersey-c-14.html, but did not workout.

Jackson, 19, is considered a top five pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. The 6 foot 8, 203 pound wing posted 16.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game last season while helping Kansas reach the Elite 8.

He and Mason made a devastating tandem, leading the Jayhawks to a 31 5 record and a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Mason is listed as a second round pick in most mock drafts, but he s turned heads with his leadership and athleticism. The 5 foot 11 point guard put on a dunking display following the workout, showing that his max vertical of 41 inches from the NBA s combine last month was no fluke.

The senior guard averaged 20.9 points, 5.2 assists and 4.2 rebounds in 36.1 minutes a night for coach Bill Self. He is the first player to come through Sacramento for a second workout this draft season. According to Mason, he has already worked out for 10 teams Mitch Lightfoot Jersey, including two separate stops in Orlando. He has four more workouts scheduled between now and next Thursday s Draft.

I think it s a good sign, Mason said of his second visit with the Kings. Maybe they re really interested in me.

Mason is getting comfortable in Sacramento Customize Jersey, even taking time to reach out to Kansas fans living in the Capital City via social media. The 23 year old even invited a young Jayhawks fan and his father down to his hotel in downtown Sacramento where he took pictures and hung out in the lobby.

It s really cool to know that I m a role model for kids https://www.kujerseystore.com/landen-lucas-jersey-c-13.html, Mason said. Just for him to meet me and where I m heading in my career, it s a pretty big deal for him.

The Kings are looking to add at least one point guard in the upcoming draft, most likely with one of their two top 10 selections. But if Mason makes it to the early second round where the Kings hold the 34th overall selection, he might be an option as a spark plug off the bench.

Jackson is the second potential top five player to visit the Kings during pre draft build up. Kentucky point guard De Aaron Fox made an appearance two weeks ago, spending the night in Sacramento and working out for the team.

Bulls who finally took them down, or Cheap madden mobile coins maybe more because it's impossible to see this team apart from the orgy of insanity that's accompanied them pretty much every week for the past two-and-a-half years, I couldn't help but think back to Bulls-Heat in March 2011.Compare Wednesday to that Bulls loss in March. The one where the Heat collapsed in crunch time and lost a one-point game, and then this happened:Spoelstra said some
