VANCOUVER -- After a frustrating season which saw his team miss the playoffs, Vancouver head coach John Tortorella was rather blunt Monday in his assessment of what the Canucks must change if they hope to return to the NHLs elite. PJ Tucker Jersey . While Tortorella took some of the blame, he also didnt pull any punches. He said the Canucks are getting old, the core group has become complacent and the team needs to get younger. "I felt from day one that its stale," said Tortorella. "Thats not their fault. This is a group that has been together for a long time. "It needs youth. It needs a change. The team needs to be retooled. Its a young mans game. Its certainly not a criticism of (the veterans). We need to surround them with some enthusiasm." After a promising start under Tortorella, the Canucks finished the year with a 36-35-11 record for 83 points. Vancouver managed just 13 wins in 41 games since Jan. 1 and settled for a 25th-place finish in the overall standings. The poor showing has already cost Mike Gillis his job as president and general manager. New president Trevor Linden -- the Canucks former captain -- still must decide Tortorellas fate. The two were scheduled to meet later Monday. Centre Ryan Kesler, who was the subject of trade rumours this year, said the players have to take responsibility for the season. "Were all flabbergasted right now," said Kesler, who led Vancouver with 25 goals. "Going into this year I would never think we would be sitting here in this situation." The Canucks ended their season with a 5-1 win over the Calgary Flames last Sunday but the victory was soured by an ugly incident late in the second period. Daniel Sedin was taken off the ice on a stretcher after being hit from behind by Calgarys Paul Byron. Sedin was taken to hospital and later released. After the hit, Sedin lay crumpled on the ice and couldnt raise his head. "I was scared," he said at Mondays season-ending news conference. "I tried to lift my head at first and couldnt get it off the ice. "The only thing I thought was lay still. I tried to move my hands and it felt good. I went to the hospital and everything looks good. I feel OK today." Tortorella said fans and management cant keep reminiscing about the Canucks loss in Game 7 of the 2011 Stanley Cup final, but instead must concentrate on making the team better again. "Were not in 2011," said the man hired last year to replace the fired Alain Vigneault. "We have to stop talking about 2011. "The core needs to change." Canucks captain Henrik Sedin said the team was "really good" until halfway through the season when injuries became a problem. Both Sedins, Alex Burrows and defenceman Chris Tanev all missed a significant number of games with injuries. "You never want to use injuries (as an excuse but) we had a tough year," said Henrik. "We had guys playing out of position. We had guys playing more minutes than they were used to. "We had to play a different way and we werent able to win playing that way." Tortorella said during this period he made a coaching mistake by giving the room to the players. "I didnt get back in the room and continue to teach the details," he said. "I didnt stay on top of it. "I needed to be pounding away at the details. I think that hurt us in situational play. I think that hurt us in trying to understand how you change momentum. Thats not the team, thats me. Thats my biggest regret." A lack of scoring haunted Vancouver all season. The Canucks managed just 196 goals, leaving them tied for second fewest in the league. For the first time in a non-lockout season, Vancouver had just one 20-goal scorer in Kesler. Daniel Sedin finished the year with 16 goals and went through a stretch of 23 games without scoring. Henrik Sedin had just 11 goals. Burrows, who hadnt scored less than 25 goals in the last four full seasons, had just five. "People talk about we are playing too much defence," said Daniel. "Honestly we played as aggressively as we have been. "That has nothing to do with why our production is down. Its up to us to play like we can." Defenceman Alex Edler, who begins a US$30-million, six-year contract next season, finished the season at -39, the worst plus-minus in the NHL. "There was a lot of changes this year (in how we played in own end) and a lot of new things to get used to," said Edler. "I think I didnt have the year I should have had but I know I am a good player." The Canucks have had several distractions to deal with over the last year. Tortorellas hiring was a surprise. Goaltender Cory Schneider was traded during the summer, meaning Roberto Luongo was the Vancouver starter after believing he was gone. Luongo was eventually traded to Florida. Tortorella missed six games after being suspended for trying to get into the Calgary locker-room following a line brawl to open a Jan. 18 game against the Flames. The Canucks were 2-4-0 during that period, then 2-7-1 when Tortorella returned. "When you lose a head coach its never good," said Henrik Sedin. "I dont think it was specifically that incident that made us start losing." Dan Majerle Jersey . Rookie Marek Mazanec made 39 saves for his first NHL victory and the Predators beat the Chicago Blackhawks 7-2 Saturday night. Dan Majerle Suns Jersey . Nick Holden scored two goals and had an assist and the Avalanche held off the Nashville Predators 5-4 Saturday night for their fourth straight victory.Who chirps the most on Canadas Mens Rugby Team?Jebb Sinclair, without a doubt. He can be really good at it, and he could probably dig himself into some holes, but hes the one.(Lorne Collicutt/Rugby Canada)Whats the worst/grossest thing that has ever happened to you in a scrum?Im lucky enough that most of my rugby is played in the back row, where its just my own teammate. But Ive had some time in the second row, and Ive had some scrums come over top of me, and Ive definitely had some groin areas up in the face, which hasnt been so pleasant.Whats the worst injury you have seen playing rugby?Ive been really fortunate myself, not really having any bad injuries, but I saw a guy completely do his knee this year. All the ligaments as well as hyper extended, I think. Yeah, that was bad. And it was just coming off of a year that he spent recovering from a groin injury. One of the best players Ive ever seen play, and a great guy, but just really unfortunate. How much have you seen the sport grow since youve started? Its hard to say because Ive been so involved in it, but I think if you take a step back and look at it from the outside, were getting people coming up to us in grocery stores and saying, "Good luck against Scotland," which just means rugby is growing so much with the general public. What are you most looking forward to about playing against Scotland on Saturday?Being att home, having my family here, having so many people that have helped me get to where I am right now being able to watch the game. It must feel like home for Canadas Mens Rugby Team.Yeah, that is the best part. I think its our unofficial home, and its so nice to see it selling out because when I started playing that never would have happened. So were almost in awe when we see this happen in Canada. I think thats the best part: the fan support.Tyler Ardron (Left), Hubert Buydens (Middle), and Adam Kleeberger (Right) (Lorne Collicutt/Rugby Canada)At the Rugby World Cup in 2011, Canadas Mens Rugby Teams "Beardos" became a major phenomenon, and the whole country was united behind them. Looking ahead to 2015, will the beards be coming back?I dont know if you could say theyre coming back. For someone like Hubert [Buydens], I dont think he has ever lost his. Its in full force and will be this weekend. But I dont think anyone else is going to try take on that same role. CHARLOTTE, N. DeAndre Jordan USA Jersey .C. - The Orlando Magic went small — and came up big.Struggling to find their way on offence, Magic coach Jacque Vaughn turned to a four-guard lineup late in the second half, sparking a huge comeback.Evan Fournier scored 21 points, Tobias Harris had 17 points and 16 rebounds and the Magic erased a 23-point second-half deficit to hand the Charlotte Hornets their fourth straight loss 105-100 on Friday night. At one point, the Magic had Fournier matched up on Charlottes 7-foot power forward Cody Zeller. When they went small it changed the momentum of the game, Hornets guard Gary Neal said. They drove the ball. When you have a lead and guys are coming down the floor and attacking, attacking and attacking, thats one of the hardest things to guard. And it seemed like they didnt miss any shots. The Magic shot a blazing 71.4 per cent (15 of 21) in the fourth quarter and outscored the Hornets 41-21.It tied the third largest comeback in Orlando history. It was pure magic, Harris said with a laugh. The Magic trailed by 15 entering the fourth quarter, but Willie Green jumpstarted the offence by scoring all nine of his points at a crucial juncture in the final period. Fellow reserves Elfrid Payton had eight of his 16 points in the fourth quarter and Ben Gordon had all nine of his points in the final period.Nikola Vucevic had 14 points and 10 rebounds for Orlando (6-8).There was no panic and we talked about that at halftime, Vaughn said. I told them we would get a chance to get back into the game. This was a great lesson for a lot of guys in the locker room. Its the second time in 11 days the Hornets have surrendered a 23-point lead and lost.Al Jefferson had 24 points and 11 rebounds, and Kemba Walker added 15 points and 12 rebounds for the struggling Hornets (4-9), who have lost six of their last seven games. The Hornets pushed the lead to 23 points midway through the third quarter. But Green ignited a key run.The 11-year NBA veteran hit back-to-back jumpers, Gordon connected on a 19-foot jump shot before Green swished another 19-foot jumper to tie the game at 93. Payton finally put the Magic ahead with 1:30 left when he hit a pull-up jump shot. But the big play came with the game tied 97-97. Payton missed two free throws but the Hornets forgot to box out and Green grabbed an offensive rebound for an all-too-easy put back with 57 seconds left in the game to give Orlando the lead for good.Walker said it was his job to box out Green and he didnt. Its inexcusable, Hornets coach Steve Clifford said.___TIP-INSMagic: Rookie forward Aaron Gordon underwent successful surgery on the fractured bone in his left foot on Friday. The players association and CFL reached a tentative agreement late Saturday night on a new contract. The move averted a potential players strike and, if ratified, would secure the league five years of labour peace. But the CFLPA needed more than four hours Saturday night to sell the deal to its team reps during a conference call. Once news of the tentative agreement broke, many CFL veterans voiced their displeasure on social media. "You hire a bunch of clowns and you are probably going to get a circus," tweeted Calgary Stampeders defensive back Jeff Hecht. "How it works in the 21st century: Unions are dead," Calgary running back Jon Cornish, the CFLs outstanding player last year, said on his official Twitter account. Dyakowski, an offensive lineman with the Ticats, says some of his teammates are definitely unhappy but hed expect most to vote in favour of acceptance. However, he admits other team reps will face a tougher task doing so. "Certainly we had some difficulty here with guys not embracing it, to put it mildly," Dyakowski said. "I think in higher revenue markets its going to be that much harder because they see theres money to be spent. "I could see the boys on the prairies being up in arms about this so their reps have their jobs cut out for them in explaining the benefits of this deal." The union was expected to launch a work stoppage Sunday, threatening the exhibition game Monday night between the Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. That contest will now go ahead. If the agreement is ratified, the regular season will start on time June 26. A date has not been announced for a ratification vote. The expectation is enough players will vote in favour, but one CFL star requesting anonymity isnt so sure. "I wouldnt be shocked if the guys vote against it," he said. Dyakowski, who won the CBC show "Canadas Smartest Person" in 2012, believes the deal is the best the union could secure without going on strike. "Is it what we started out going for? No," he said. "But there is always give and take in negotiations. "Ultimately, what we feel we have is the best deal we can achieve without doing significant damage on both sides. No one wants a work stoppage." However, the anonymous player felt the threat of a strike was the unions prime bargaining chip. "We had to miss pre-season games and give the owners a feeling of empty stadiums, refunding tickets, not selling merchandise, food," he said. "When the regular season approaches, at least they have a taste of it. "For us, our training camp pay doessnt change whether we play one, two or no pre-season games. LeBron James USA Jersey. " Dyakowski doesnt see it that way. "The prospect of going on strike, it would be a fun adventure for the first couple of days," he said. "But at the end of the day it could just as likely be a two, four or five-month ordeal than just a couple of days of trying to send a wake-up call." The CFL got the players to agree to a $5-million salary cap with nominal $50,000 annual increases. The union initially requested a $6.24-million cap and dropped to $5.2 million before accepting the leagues offer. The CFL also got a major concession from the union on the gross revenue formula that would trigger the renegotiation of the cap or entire collective agreement. The players, who initially wanted the CBA to include revenue sharing, had called for the cap or entire agreement to be renegotiated if league revenues increased by more than $18 million -- excluding the Grey Cup -- in the third year of the deal. The CFL wanted that figure to be $27 million, which the union ultimately agreed to. "We have a lot of guys very upset about losing the revenue-sharing issue," Dyakowski said. "That was near and dear to a lot of guys hearts. "We have five years to work towards it so theres a lot of time for planning and preparation. But I think we have a workable deal, a viable deal, a deal thats good for the teams, a deal thats good for the players and puts money into everyones pockets." Another key bargaining issue for the CFLPA was having independent neurologists on the field for each game. But that wasnt included in the deal. Dyakowski did point to the minimum salary increasing $5,000 to $50,000. And even at $5 million, he said the cap represents a $600,000 increase over 2013. Players will also receive signing bonuses -- $1,500 for rookies and a tiered system for veterans that will average $7,500 each -- and see their average salary boosted to $96,000. During negotiations, the CFL maintained the average player stipend was $82,000 while the CFLPA has contended it was just under $72,000. The tentative deal removes the option year from CFL player contracts, excluding rookies, allowing a veteran to become a free agent sooner and maximize his earning potential. "Its a big win for players freedom that will help younger players earn fairer value earlier in their careers," Dyakowski said. Getting a deal in place is crucial for the CFL, which is entering the first year of a new five-year television agreement with TSN thats reportedly worth an average of $42 million a year. But games had to be played for the league -- and ultimately its teams -- to receive the money. The deal will reportedly net clubs an extra $2.75-million in revenue. MONTREAL -- The Toronto Maple Leafs had many reasons to be upset Saturday night, but it was Max Paciorettys showboating that stood out the most. Domantas Sabonis Jersey . Pacioretty celebrated his second goal of Montreals 4-2 victory over the Leafs on Saturday night by twirling his stick and pretending to sheathe it like a sword. "The goal stirred our emotions a bit," said Leafs head coach Randy Carlyle. "If they want to hot dog, spin the sword, those kind of things... That was what stirred the pot." "You dont really like to see that kind of stuff," added Toronto forward James van Riemsdyk. Pacioretty put the Canadiens up 4-0 at that point, and coach Carlyle thought the celebration was exactly what his Leafs needed. "Thats when we got involved in the game," said Carlyle. "We got emotionally involved. We were better after that." Toronto answered with two quick goals. Riemsdyk netted the first, lifting the puck from a tight angle into the roof of the net over a crouching Carey Price at 18:10 of the second. And Mason Raymond, who was on the ice for Paciorettys goal and said the celebration ignited him, scored 22 seconds later to make it 4-2. "Normally its a bad break, when you allow a goal at the end of a period," said Pacioretty. "The period ending there helped us. We had time to recuperate, we figured out what we did wrong." The Canadiens kept the Leafs off the score sheet in the third, extending Torontos winless streak away from home to seven games. "We need to find our spark," said Laval-native Jonathan Bernier, who made 35 saves for the Leafs. "We have to be excited to play, and we have to find a way to score goals. Thats what we were doing at the start of the season." The Canadiens wasted no time getting their first past Bernier after the Leafs took a penalty for interference in the games first minute. Pacioretty scored his eighth of the season on the power play at 0:58 after taking a crisp pass from P.K. Subban, who was deep in his own zone. Pacioretty walked in on the breakaway and got off three shots on net before sliding one past Berniers outstretched leg. "The power-play goal put us back on our heels," said Carlyle. "They made a stretch pass, we didnt have coverage on Pacioretty, and he got three whacks at it. Thats how far we were behind on the play." Price got an assist on the goal, his first point of the season. Subban added to the lead at 16:13 of the first after a David Desharnais face-off win landed on his stick. Subban took a step towards the goal and beat Bernier with a wrist shot over his blocker. The goal was the first for a Habs defenceman in nine games dating back to Nov. 7, when Andrei Markov scored against the Senators. The Canadiens added to their lead at 15:05 of the second period when Tomas Plekanec fired home his ninth of the year on a two-on-one with Daniel Briere. Pacioretty put the game out of reach two minutes later while playing shorthanded. He followed up with his celebration. "It was a strange shot," said Bernier. "His release surprised me. Its a goal that I would love to get back. I was expecting a wider shot. Thats a stop I need to make." The goal was Paciorettys team-leading ninth of the year. He also finished the game with an assist, and took a career-high 10 shots on net. "His play does his talking for him," said Subban of Pacioretty. "When hes confident, hes one of our best forwards. "He can do it all. Hes big, he can skate, hes physical, he can shoot the puck, probably one of the harder wristers in the league. Its a big boost for our team." Price made 34 saves on the night and is fifth-best in the league among goaltenders with a .937 save percentage. Both the Canadiens (15-9-3) and Maple Leafs (14-10-3) were coming off 3-2 losses in extra time on Friday night. Montreal lost to the Washington Capitals in a shootout, while Buffalo scored 38 seconds into overtime to beat Toronto. Robben scored in the second minute after Mario Goetze picked him out with a ball over the top. The Dutchmans initial effort struck the post but the rebound fell kindly for him to head home. He added his second in the 30th when he cut inside two defenders before letting fly. "It was clear that it was going to be a huge challenge for us," said Braunschweig coach Torsten Lieberknecht, whose squad reportedly cost 128 times less than Bayerns. Bayern utterly dominated the first half but the visitors were unlucky not to score in the second as the home side relaxed. David Alaba saved goalkeeper Manuel Neuers blushes by clearing Domi Kumbelas goal-bound effort off the line, and Kevin Kratz hit the crossbar with a deflected free kick late in the game, which Bayern ended on the counterattack. "It was a difficult game because weve come from Dortmund and Moscow," said Bayern coach Pep Guardiola, referring to his sides previous league and Champions League games. "Its another game more and we won. In the end Im very satisfied with the performance," the Spaniard added, after Bayern stretched its record unbeaten run to 39 games. Dortmund found Mainz a tough nut to crack as Juergen Klopp returned to the club where he spent his entire playing career and coached for 7 1/2 years. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang finally broke the deadlock in the 70th, with a free kick that went in off the left post. But Mainz equalized through Eric Maxim Choupo-Motings penalty four minutes later after Lukasz Piszczek brought down Yanus Malli. Robert Lewandowski restored Dortmunds lead through another penalty five minutes after that, and Mainz midfielder Elkin Soto was sent off for handling Aubameyangs effort on goal, before Lewandowski gave the scoreline a flattering look with another penalty in injury time. "Im totally happy with the result and with the way the game went," Klopp said. Werder Bremen scored in the last minute for a 4-4 draw at Hoffenheim, Bayer Leverkusen beat relegation-threatened Nuremberg 3-0 and Hertha Berlin drew 0-0 with Augsburg. Schalke defeated Stuttgart 3-0 in the late game to climb fifth and ease the pressure on coach Jens Keller. Kyle Singler Thunder Jersey. "We played well here. Its crazy that it could end 3-0," said Stuttgart coach Thomas Schneider, whose side has just one win from its last seven games. Jefferson Farfan scored in the 34th when Julian Draxler set him up on the right and claimed his second in the 47th from the penalty spot -- the seventh awarded in the Bundesliga on Saturday -- after Draxler made the most of Christian Gentners contact to go down. United States midfielder Jermaine Jones, who ran over 12 kilometres (7 1/2 miles) during the game, secured the result with a powerful shot inside the left post in the 79th. "I have to pick one player out -- Jermaine Jones has taken criticism before, from me included, but he was outstanding today and Im happy he got his goal," Keller said. Earlier, Sejad Salihovic scored two penalties within six minutes for Hoffenheim to lead 2-0 by the 18th minute. Bremen captain Aaron Hunt pulled one back in the 45th, also from the penalty spot, one minute before Eljero Elia equalized when Hunts harmless-looking cross slipped through Koen Casteels fingers. Salihovic crossed for Kevin Volland to score four minutes after the break, and Kai Herdling made it 4-2 with a fine strike four minutes later. But Nils Petersen pulled one back in the 59th and Philipp Bargfrede scored his first Bundesliga goal very late to secure an unlikely draw for Bremen. "Im happy for all the neutral fans and the journalists -- they enjoyed the game. For us coaches on the other hand, it would often make you tear your hair out," Bremen coach Robin Dutt said. His counterpart was equally unappreciative. "If we played normal games for the whole season, you could say that such a game is awesome," Hoffenheim coach Markus Gisdol said. "But its like that every week with us. Its starting to get annoying." Leverkusen, humiliated in Wednesdays 5-0 home defeat to Manchester United in the Champions League, remains four points adrift of Bayern after the sides 11th win from 14 games. Sami Hyypias side endured a difficult start against Nuremberg before Son Heung-min scored with a neat finish in the 36th, Jens Hegeler set up Stefan Kiessling with his heel two minutes after the break, and Son scored his second in the 76th. It usually involves that kid who was in a wheelchair on Degrassi or some hashtag I dont understand or something to do with Disney Jr. Eric Decker Jets Jersey . But the word "beard" drew me in, and on upon further investigation I discovered that "peak beard" was about contemporary popular cultures threshold for beard wearing, and the notion that the age of the beard may be over. This seemed sacrilegious to me, because here in late April we sit on the precipice of the climax of beard season: winter is slowly receding and the NHL playoffs bring with them the greatest sports tradition of all-time, the playoff beard. Peak beard in April? Pfft. Thats like writing of December that weve hit "peak Santa", or of AC/DC weve hit "peak guitar", or of a wedding weve hit "peak open bar". As we settle into the first round of the playoffs, beards among NHLers are about to take form. We are awash in the infancy of stubble. In two months whichever teams are left battling will look like theyre en route to Bonnaroo post-pucks. It should be noted that Ive worn a beard since puberty allowed it, and a razor has insulted my cheeks just once in the past twenty years. I revel in playoff beards. They make me feel at home. I wear a playoff beard in August. And as we got through the first weekend of the playoffs a few days ago, which was also Easter, Id be remiss if I didnt mention the best playoff beard ever: Jesus. Dude rocked his beard into the post-post season, and according to scripture will still be rocking the playoff beard when he comes back. The story of the playoff beard is well known: It started some thirty years ago during the New York Islanders dynasty of the 80s. (For our younger readers the Islanders were once a good hockey team, before fishermen logos, Charles Wang, and Alexei Yashin.) No one is quite sure of its specific genesis, however. Some attribute it to two Swedish Islanders who were trying to emulate tennis star Björn Borgs custom of not shaving during Wimbledon. Some say that Islanders defenceman Ken Morrows beard led the charge. Whatever the story, the playoff beard has come to symbolize team unity, a badge of honour, and the fact that youve made a deep enough run to sport a thick brush from which you can hang livestock. In my years as a hockey fan, a few playoff beards standout. Scott Niedermayers greying old man beard, Mike Commodores ginger madness, and Lanny McDonalds wild west stache accompaniment immediately come to mind. In recent years, rules concerning the playoff beard seem to have turned lax. Shaving after a loss in effort to change a teams luck is seemingly allowed. Goatees, the beards answer to the haiku, are tolerated. Professional trimming is apparent (Im looking at you, Sedin twins.) Back in the day, when men were men and the Oilers made the playoffs, the rules for the playoff beard were simple: 1. Stop shaving.2. Win Stanley Cup or get eliminated.3. Start shaving again. In todays NHL, a new challenge faces beard-growing players. In the salary cap era, inexpensive young talent on entry-level contracts are important to the balance of a competitive team. Eighteen, nineteen, and twenty year-olds are key parts of many playoff teams lineups. Early in the first round, all players beards are equal. Its like a grade 8 dance. But come rounds two and three, how will Nathan MacKinnon, Olli Maatta, and Ryan Murray look should their teams be fortunate enough to make it that deep? Of course, a teams playoff longevity doesnt necessarily guarantee a healthy bearded player. When Tomas Kaberle won a Cup with Boston in 2011, the former Leafs defencemen still looked like a pre-pubescent child despite two months without shaving. Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews has won two Cups without any discernible upper lip growth, and Sidney Crosby still owns his "Sid the Kid" moniker with his patchy-coat-of an-electrocuted-dog fuzz. We cant all be Duck Dynasty-esque, but at 26 Crosbys beard is just plain sad. I have a better beard in my junior prom photos. Hell, my prom date has a better beard. And then theres the beards well never know. Can Dion Phaneuf even grow a beard? Can Phil Kessel? Can the Edmonton Oilers? We know they can schedule vacations for early April, play in the World Championships, and pick in the early first round of the draft, but theyll need to see past round one of the playoffs before we can judge their facial hair prowess. Sadly, methinks well never know. For now, I will rebel against notions peak beard, despite what Cosmo and The Daily Guardian are writing. The grand tradition of the playoff beard is just one of the many facets of the fight for the Stanley Cup that makes the NHLs postseason more compelling, more rich in narrative, and more entertaining than any other sport. So buy razor futures now, because the blades are sheathed for another two months, and may the best beard host the parade. Dennis Byrd Jersey . Here at TSN.ca we will take a look back at the season by bringing together a panel of experts to help pick the best 50 players of the season. This list is based purely on their performances this season. It is not a list of who we think the best 50 players in the league are. Fourteen members were asked to take part (panel below) and submit their top 20 players of the season. Their list was then placed into a scoring system and then the totals determined the overall positions in the top 50. Each day this week we will release the list in 10s. The sport is very much about opinions, so please feel free to write your own list in the comments below. Here is how the Top 20 were scored – 1st place – 30pts; 2nd place – 25; 3rd place – 22; 4th place – 20; 5th place – 18; 6th place – 17; 7th place – 15; 8th place – 14; 9th place – 13; 10th place – 12; 11th place – 10; 12th place – 9; 13th place – 8; 14th place – 7; 15th place – 6; 16th place – 5; 17th place – 4; 18th place – 3; 19th place – 2; 20th place – 1. The Panel Six members of TSNs soccer team were on the panel and were joined by eight other members from around the world who were asked to represent their specific field. Joining our staff members were two outstanding statistical experts, Jonny Blain and Simon Gleave, two brilliant reporters/commentators covering the league, Stewart Coggin and Paul Sarahs and two extremely knowledgeable tactics writers, Tim Palmer and Ritesh from the False9 website and a man who covers the development side of the league like no other, Aidan from the England Youth website. In addition, also involved was arguably one of the knowledgeable writers covering the league in the world, Michael Cox, aka Zonal Marking. Winston Reid (West Ham) – It has been a frustrating year for the New Zealand centre-back in terms of injuries as ankle surgery forced him to miss more than a dozen Premier League matches and it was during this time that his loss was really noticeable. The Hammers have shown glimpses of a very solid unit this past season but it never looks better unless the 25-year-old is in the team. Could be on the move this summer to a bigger club. 49. Martin Skrtel (Liverpool) – Some people who watch Liverpool often` belief Skrtel should not be a part of their future. The Slovakian can be far too aggressive in his own penalty box and, despite improvement, doesnt seem comfortable enough on the ball to suit the style Brendan Rodgers demands. However, this season his strength and bravery, in both penalty boxes, have helped Liverpool win many games. With regular issues surrounding who plays the other side of the centre-back tandem, Skrtel has given Rodgers much needed solidity at the heart of his defence. 48. David De Gea (Man Utd) – There are very few positives for Man Utd fans to take from this past season. However, one of the advantages to having an aging, poor defence was that their goalkeeper was tested more than usual. De Gea had an excellent season and, for some on this panel, was the clubs best player. Arguably one of the best saves of the entire season came in October when Sunderlands Emanuele Giaccherini headed the ball towards the top corner and a stretched De Gea tipped it wide. It was a brilliant save, as was the instinctive stoop he had on a volley by Jonathan Walters a few weeks later. Brandon Marshall Jets Jersey. 47. Santi Cazorla (Arsenal) – It was a mystifying season for the Spaniard. Some think he has the talent to carry a team on his back and showed glimpses of that when Arsenal were at their peak in November (he was outstanding in their home win over Liverpool) yet consistency at the highest level is still lacking. This may not be Cazorlas fault. Although a wonderfully pleasing player on the eyes, it is, perhaps, an indictment on Arsenal in 2014 that he is one of their best players. If he had two or three world class players around him (particularly playing behind him centrally), Cazorla would blossom more often. 46. Jason Puncheon (Crystal Palace) – On January 11, Crystal Palace were having fun at Tottenham, playing the high-flyers completely off the pitch. Then they got a penalty, one Puncheon smashed into Row Z. The look on his face showed just how distraught he was. Palace would lose 2-0 and manager Tony Pulis admitted that the winger couldnt get over the miss for the rest of the game. The next two weeks, Palace won 1-0 twice with goals, each time, from the man who started the season at Southampton. Then, at the start of April, he scored in three straight games to guarantee the teams safety. 45. Joel Ward (Crystal Palace) – Puncheon got a lot of the headlines, but Crystal Palaces best player of the season was arguably a man very few Premier League fans had heard about 12 months ago. Joel Ward was asked to play all different positions across the back four and in central midfield this season but really excelled under Tony Pulis, showing a real assurance in possession, while enjoying the freedom of width by causing overlaps down the wings. 44. Olivier Giroud (Arsenal) – Arsene Wengers side have holes and when asked what they need to do to become a title contender, many people think they can do better up top by replacing Giroud. That might be true but the 27-year-old is a striker who should be monitored not just for the goals he scores. Obviously they are essential for a man in his position but the Frenchman is a very clever link forward, comfortable with his back to goal, bringing in to play the multiple playmakers in behind him. He is also very good in the air and has won key aerial battles in both boxes this season. 43. Curtis Davies (Hull City) – What a difference three seasons can make. Once seen as a future star, Davies, cast aside by Aston Villa, had to go down to the lower leagues and improve his craft and when Steve Bruce paid just over two million pounds for him last summer to play in the Premier League there were those who werent sure he was up to the task. Davies (Saturdays game against Villa aside) proved the doubters wrong, starting all but one of the teams league games this season and being, unquestionably, the teams player of the season in what has been a very good season for the club. 42. Alvaro Negredo (Man City) – If this list would have been done at Christmas, the Spaniard would have been in the top 20. All of Negredos nine Premier League goals this season came before the middle of January and if he doesnt score a goal in the final week of the season he will have gone four months without a league goal. However, this is no Roberto Soldado. The beast, as he is called in the blue half of Manchester, is no flop and is a wonderful footballer who can score goals from set pieces, drop deep and play in opponents and score goals in the six-yard box. Expect him to come back stronger and fitter in August. 41. Laurent Koscielny (Arsenal) – What a strange season for Arsenals defence. Impressive against most of the league, diabolical away from home at Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Everton. The Frenchman can be a very polarizing figure, often looked down on because of highlight-reel mistakes such as own goals or high-profile red cards, but when not being put into highlight packs, the 28-year-old shows he is very steady in defence. Like many defenders, he isnt always at his best when forced to turn and face his own goal but very few opponents force him to do so. Former All Blacks coach Sir Graham Henry expects Eddie Jones to turn England into a big force in world rugby. Cortez Kennedy Jersey . Speaking to Sky Sports in the wake of Englands 39-21 victory over Australia in the first Test, Henry praised Jones for restoring pride in the jersey, and said the team displayed passion reminiscent of the England team captained by Martin Johnson in 2003.The England players celebrated each big tackle and penalty in Brisbane on Saturday, which Henry believes is a direct result of Jones influence. Hes concentrated on that English team being very physical, very abrasive, and theyre playing that way, said Henry. They out-passioned the Aussies. The Wallabies looked like they were going to take them apart early in the game. Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork. Kellen Winslow Chargers Jersey .com) - The Columbus Blue Jackets signed forward Nick Foligno to a six-year contract extension on Wednesday. Foligno, 27, leads the Blue Jackets with 17 goals and is tied for the team lead with 31 points in 33 games this season. LONDON -- Chelsea scored four goals in the second half to thrash 10-man Tottenham 4-0 and provisionally move seven points clear in the Premier League on Saturday. Richard Sherman Jersey . Jose Mourinhos side was unconvincing before halftime but Samuel Etoo sparked a stunning revival by taking advantage of Jan Vertonghens slip and ill-judged back pass to nip in and score in the 56th minute. Etoo was then felled by Younes Kaboul in the area, earning the defender a straight red card, and Eden Hazard converted the 60th-minute penalty. Substitute Demba Ba completed a crushing win with two late goals in the space of 75 seconds. Chelsea has played a game more than second-placed Liverpool and third-placed Arsenal, who are both seven points adrift and not in league action this weekend. Fourth-placed Manchester City is nine points behind with three games in hand. This was meant to be one of Chelseas toughest matches of its run-in and a win -- coming despite a poor first half -- can only strengthen belief inside Stamford Bridge that the title could be theirs in Mourinhos first season back in charge. Chelsea has Arsenal at home and Liverpool away in its final nine matches; otherwise the schedule looks straightforward. And although City is in striking distance, points on the board are what matter at this stage. Chelsea has had the knack this campaign of winning without necessarily playing well and this was another case in point, taking its unbeaten run in the league to 14 games in the process. Spurs had drawn or lost on their previous 26 visits to Stamford Bridge, dating back to February 1990 when Gary Lineker scored the winning goal, but they looked in good shape to end that dreadful record in a first half that they edged. Hazard may have missed an open goal in the fifth minute after rounding goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, but most of the action was at the other end where Nabil Bentaleb dragged a shot wide, Sandro had a superb volley saved and Tottenhams fluid midfield caused all sorts of problems. But the visitors failed to make their dominance count and the inevitable happened at the start of the second half -- Chelsea took full advantage. The first goal can be put down to Vertonghens unfortunate slip, although the Belgium defender compounded his error by trying to hook the ball back to Lloris while scrambling on the ground. Etoo intervened and slotted a low finish into the corner. Etoo, who was only playing because Fernando Torres was injured in the warmup, was then bundled into by Kaboul from behind as he latched onto Hazards square ball. Kaboul was shown a straight red card and Hazard rolled home the penalty. From then on, it was damage limitation for Spurs and they resisted until the final two minutes. Ba tucked home a finish after Sandro made a mess of clearing Oscars cross and then Kyle Walkers strange headed backpass was pounced on by Ba, who finished under Lloris. Russell Wilson Jersey . Goldeyes third baseman Ryan Pineda drove in three runs and the pitching staff didnt allow an earned run, as Winnipeg downed Kansas City 6-3 in American Association exhibition action at CommunityAmerica Ballpark in Kansas. Jimmy Graham Jersey .A caravan greeted the former Boston Red Sox pitcher at the airport and took him to a public park in Santo Domingo, where a crowd lined a 19-mile stretch of highway to catch a glimpse of him.Once at the park, Martinez went on stage accompanied by players David Ortiz and Robinson Cano as merengue music played and fireworks lit up the sky.The old adage a week is a long time in politics will likely be ringing in Collen Warners ears as he made his way to join up with his new teammates at BMO Field Friday morning. For a player who started all nine league games this season, often out of his central midfield holding role to an attacking berth out on the flank, the last image Impact supporters are left with is of the long walk to the locker room for Warner following his red card against the MLS Champs last Saturday afternoon at Saputo Stadium. We all know how that game finished. A fifth league defeat in a season that appears to be getting further away from a club which is desperate to make amends for how their 2013 campaign ended. For a team that less than 72-hours earlier had lost to Edmonton, a team at the bottom of the NASL standings, the Sporting KC defeat compounded the misery that has engulfed the club. Joey Saputo let it be known changes would be coming. His tweet last Saturday was delivered even before the rest of Warners teammates had made it back to the safety of the locker room. Where they would discover Sunday morning training had been added to the weekly itinerary. Blake Smiths loan to NASLs Indy 11 announced Tuesday was a cue the club were on the search for a wide attacking midfielder. The splendid form to date of Justin Mapp has magnified how inadequate the teams options are on the wing, as did using Warner out wide. Trading for Nakajima-Farran immediately addresses this. Warner has faced undue criticism this season. When all he did was do what was asked of him. Used sparingly in a starting role by Schällibaum, his elevated playing role this term led to some even questioning the relationship between Warner and his head coach. Similar to April 4ths trade which saw Andrew Wenger depart for the Union, the consensus is that Impact Sporting Director, Nick De Santis has pulled off another favourable trade. The allocation money going Montreals way certainly sweetens the pot. Returning to league play Saturday evening after the bye week and on the back of Wednesdays fun and games in the return leg against Edmonton, provides the Impact with the chance to get only their second win of the season. Jimmy Graham Youth Jersey. Worryingly Di Vaio, who spent Wednesday evening watching the game from the pitch stood just behind the Impact bench, has still not fully recovered from a hamstring strain which he first suffered back on April 19th in the away game against Sporting KC. He is doubtful for the game in DC. A game which will reunite the Impact with their old club captain Davy Arnaud, whose contact was not renewed by the Impact at the conclusion of last season. Revitalized since DC acquired him, Arnaud has played a significant part for a club that is only two wins away from surpassing their entire point total from the 2013 season. Not one who would ever describe himself as the most gifted technically, the Impact has certainly missed his tireless work rate. Arnauds dedication to the cause is a clear illustration of something else the team has sorely lacked as the Impact sit firmly rooted to bottom place in the conference. Another player who will not lack in motivation Saturday is Eddie Johnson, who was spurned by Jürgen Klinsmann when he announced a 30-man USMNT World Cup roster on Monday. Johnson more than anyone will not need reminding of his eight game scoreless run since been traded from Seattle to DC is hardly the form befitting of a player who scored many crucial goals during World Cup qualification. DC, who overhauled their squad in the off season following a woeful 2013, is the surprise package in the league this season and would signify a significant scalp for the Impact. To do so the Impact will certainly have to overcome the set piece jitters which have plagued them all season. Defensively they will have to be as they were in their solitary win so far and Justin Mapp will have to yet again carry the attacking threat. On Wednesday evening at Saputo Stadium just before kickoff rather aptly a "Through Thick and Thin" banner was unveiled in the stands. Patience has been tested, perseverance is now required. The St. Phil McConkey Jersey . Louis Blues have agreed to a new three-year, $11.1 million deal with restricted free agent forward Patrik Berglund. Berglund and the Blues reached the deal - worth an average annual value of $3.7 million - Thursday night. Originally selected 25th overall by the Blues at the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, Berglund has appeared in 436 career games with St. Louis, scoring 106 goals and 114 assists. Berglund was a member of Swedens silver medal-winning team at the 2014 Sochi Games. Despite a serve that was intimidating but not perfect and some erratic play, Raonic won two tiebreaks to beat American Jack Sock 4-6, 7-6 (2), 7-6 (4) on centre court Wednesday night at Rexall Centre. "All the difficulties getting through that match, facing break points two of my service games consecutively, doing a poor job in converting the chances I had," Raonic said. "All those things that maybe if it doesnt go your way you wouldve said, I wish I did this differently, and this and this in these situations, all that, lets say weight that might be on your shoulders, its the relief of that just sort of getting off." Amid chants of "Lets Go Milos," Raonic kept Canadian hope alive in the tournament. On Tuesday, all four men who played singles were eliminated, and Eugenie Bouchard bowed out in Montreal. Raonic cranked his serve up past 200 kilometres per hour, finishing with 15 aces that helped offset some struggles against Sock, who played some of his best tennis even in defeat. Raonic won 79 per cent of his first-serve points, below his stellar average, and failing to be perfect cost him the first set. The 23-year-old held serve in the second set before blowing Sock out in the tiebreak. Raonic needed another tiebreak -- this one tenser -- to finish off the match. "When you play him, usually when you get down a break, it usually means the sets over," Sock said. "Thats why he kind of is where he is though, he kind of comes up big in those moments." Raonic is something of a tiebreak specialist, and this match was no different. "I feel good in those situations," he said. "Especially if things are not going throughout the set the way I wouldve liked, Im not converting opportunities or giving away too many opportunities, I know that if I can get it to a tiebreak I can sort of tip the things in my favour." One thing that tipped the scales in Raonics favour was the crowd. Sock loved the "electric" and "fun" atmosphere but not everything he heard. "A couple of them were a little more rude than I thought," Sock said. "I thought he got treated pretty well last week in the States, and there were some pretty inappropriate comments tonight." Sock blamed himself for missed opportunities, adding that "the fans saying anything didnt change whether I missed those forehands by two inches or not." For his part, Raonic said he has "listened to much worse playing in other countries." Julien Benneteau of France awaits Raonic in the third round Thursday night. Benneteau upset 11th-seeded Ernests Gulbis Wednesday after beating former world No. 1 Lleyton Hewitt in the first round. Raonic said he didnt expect his first match at the Rogers Cup to be perfect. Moving forward, he hopes for improvement. "I expect to play a little bit better tomorrow, but I dont know what that is," Raonic said. By edging Sock, Raonic can keep his recent momentum going. He won last weeks Citi Open in Washington by beating Vancouvers Vasek Pospisil in the first-ever all-Canadiian final a month after becoming the first Canadian to reach the Wimbledon semifinals. New York Giants Jerseys. Raonic came into the week tied for his career high in the rankings at No. 6 and now has a chance to keep climbing the ladder. The man atop those rankings, Novak Djokovic, got pushed to the limit earlier in the day before beating Gael Monfils 6-2, 6-7 (4), 7-6 (2) in an emotional match. Monfils pulled out all the stops by hitting a between-the-legs shot and throwing his racket to hit the ball, and each player tried to ignite the crowd to get louder. "Hes probably the only guy in the world, tennis player, that I would pay a ticket to watch the match," Djokovic said of Monfils. "He loves jumping around, sliding, hes very unpredictable. You dont know what his next move is, so thats why hes so interesting." Monfils didnt endear himself to fans by arguing with chair umpire Gerry Armstrong after receiving a time violation, even as they were captivated by his dazzling play on the court. As a result, Djokovic had support behind him as he came back from a three games to one deficit in the third set. After finishing off two-hour, 40-minute classic in a lopsided tiebreak, Djokovic fist-pumped and yelled with excitement. Except for when he chided Armstrong for giving him a warning "for nothing" when he switched his racket, Monfils looked to be enjoying himself for most of the match. The most memorable part of the match was when Monfils threw his racket and kept running without it -- for "fun." Monfils made Djokovic had to earn this victory. "Hes simply the best at the moment," Monfils said of Djokovic. "At some stage of the match, you knew that you could not ace him or have any free points with your serve. This is tough. And then his timing is great, hes always on time, run good, different attacks. I think hes just the No. 1 for a reason." By avoiding what wouldve been the biggest upset of the tournament thus far, Djokovic kept alive the possibility of facing eighth-seeded Andy Murray in the quarter-finals. Murray had little trouble winning his opening match in Toronto, as he beat 19-year-old Australian Nick Kyrgios 6-2, 6-2 in the first match of the day on centre court. Murray could have a major challenge in the near future in the form of Djokovic. If you're a Redskins fan and haven't Glenn Dorsey Authentic Jersey watched "The Perfect Murder", which is apparently a TV show on Investigation Discovery, which is apparently a TV channel, you might want to turn in for your first show sometime in early June.

That's because, according to TMZ Sports, Redskins linebacker Khairi Fortt will play deceased Redskins legend Sean Taylor in an episode portraying Taylor's murder. According to TMZ, the show episode will center around "how http://www.authenticbroncosshop.com/shop-by-players-shannon-sharpe-jersey-c-1_22.html cops helped solved [Taylor's] tragic 2007 home invasion murder."

Interestingly enough, Taylor's father will be played by Guy Fortt, who just happens to be Kairi's father.

Fortt was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in 2014 and signed a reserve/future contract with the Redskins in January. He's also had stints with http://www.authenticcowboyssale.com/shop-by-players-dez-bryant-jersey-c-2_11.html the Bengals, Jaguars, and Seahawks.

You can read the entire story on how this all came together here.
