EAST RUTHERFORD, N.
Cheap Nike Air Max 90 Trainers .J. -- Alec
Ogletree intercepted Bryce Petty with just under 2 minutes left, lifting the Los
Angeles Rams to a 9-6 victory over the New York Jets in a snoozer Sunday.Petty
made his first NFL start in place of an injured Ryan Fitzpatrick, but couldnt
get much going against the Rams defense. After getting the ball with 2:55
remaining and down by three, Petty tried to lead the Jets (3-7) down the field.
But on second-and-7 from the 42, Pettys pass to Quincy Enunwa was picked off by
Ogletree and Enunwa tried to wrestle it away from the linebacker to no
avail.Greg Zuerlein kicked three field goals, including a go-ahead 34-yarder
with 6:52 left, helping the Rams (4-5) snap a four-game losing streak and avoid
their first five-game skid since weeks 9-13 last season. The game featured 15
punts -- eight by the Jets and seven by the Rams -- as neither offense were the
models of efficiency or excitement. New York finished with 296 yards of total
offense, while the Rams had 280.Petty, a fourth-round draft pick out of Baylor
last year, went 19 of 32 for 163 yards with a touchdown and the loss-sealing
interception.Fitzpatrick was listed as questionable with a sprained left knee ,
suffered last weekend at Miami. Coach Todd Bowles said throughout the week that
Fitzpatrick would remain the starter for Sundays game -- as long as he was
healthy enough to play. After the game, Bowles said Fitzpatrick wasnt completely
healthy. The two split first-team snaps during practice all week.Fitzpatrick was
active for the game and served as Pettys backup, while rookie Christian
Hackenberg was inactive. Bowles would not commit to who his starter would be in
the Jets next game against New England in two weeks. While Rams fans have been
clamoring for No. 1 overall pick Jared Goff to play, Case Keenum went a ho-hum
17 of 30 for 165 yards, but had no turnovers after throwing eight interceptions
in his previous four games.Petty drove the Jets 99 yards on the Jets second
possession, finishing with his first NFL TD pass with a little razzle-dazzle on
a toss to Brandon Marshall, who flipped it to Bilal Powell for a 4-yard
score.Nick Folk was wide left on the extra point, his second miss of the season,
leaving New York with a 6-3 lead early in the second quarter. The drive was
helped by a perfectly placed 52-yard pass to Robby Anderson down the left
sideline and a 28-yard run by Matt Forte that put the ball at the Rams 5. Forte
finished with 98 yards on 20 carries.Zuerlein gave the Rams a 3-0 lead on their
opening drive with a 20-yard field goal, but Los Angeles could have had more.
After a 25-yard catch by Kenny Britt and a 24-yard run by Benny Cunningham, the
Rams had first-and-goal on the Jets 1 but couldnt punch it in.Zuerlein tied it
at 6 with 20 seconds left in the third quarter with a 38-yard field goal.SO
CLOSEPetty misfired on a long pass on third-and-14 from the Rams 32 that couldve
been an easy touchdown in the closing minute of the first half, slightly
overthrowing Anderson, who was wide open but had to reach high as the ball
tipped off his hand.GURLEY STILL GROUNDEDTodd Gurley, last seasons Offensive
Rookie of Year, still has yet to run for 100 yards in a game this season after
rushing for 125 or more five times last season. He finished with 64 yards on 21
carries. Gurleys longest run of the season, 21 yards in the fourth quarter, was
wiped out by Greg Robinsons holding penalty.FIELD FLIPPERWith the Rams pinned at
their 17 on fourth-and-1 early in the fourth quarter, Johnny Hekker blasted a
78-yard punt that had returner Jalin Marshall fielding as if he were catching a
pass. After a 10-yard return by Marshall, the Jets had the ball at their 15 --
and went three-and-out. It was the fourth-longest punt in franchise history.UP

.J. -- Marshawn Lynch said Thursday it will be good to get back to football
after the Seattle quiet talking running back wrapped up his final mandatory
media session of Super Bowl week.ROGERS, Ark. -- Inbee Park took some time off
for rest and relaxation last week following her win at the LPGA Championship.
The world No. 1 looked every bit at ease on her way to a second straight win --
her fifth of the year -- on Sunday at the LPGA NW Arkansas Championship. Park
sank a 4-foot birdie on the first playoff hole against So Yeon Ryu , capping her
final-round rally and once again reminding the golf world who is clearly in
control of the LPGA Tour this year. Sundays win was Parks second straight in a
playoff, following her final-day 39-hole effort at the PGA Championship. It came
after she began the day two shots back of a group of four leaders, each who fell
by the wayside as the South Korean took control at Pinnacle Country Club on her
way to her seventh win in her last 23 starts. That kind of success that has led
to Parks meteoric rise from 26th in the world rankings a year ago to the
unquestioned top player leading into next weeks U.S. Open. "Ive won a lot of
times this year, but I still feel the pressure coming into the final round every
time," Park said. "I definitely felt a lot of pressure in the playoff. I think
thats going to happen no matter how many times I win. "It gets more exciting and
more exciting, thats for sure." After opening with a 2-under 69 on Friday, Park
vaulted to the top of the leaderboard with three straight birdies on the front
nine on Sunday. She dropped a shot with a bogey on the par-3 11th before birdies
on 14 and 18 sent her to the playoff. Park and Ryu finished the tournament tied
at 12 under, one shot ahead of Mika Miyazato. Its the second straight year
Miyazato has finished as the runner-up. Amateur Lydia Ko, I.K. Kim and local
favourite and world No. 2 Stacy Lewis, who played at nearby University of
Arkansas, each finished two shots back. After Park sank an 8-foot birdie putt on
her final hole of regulation to reach 12 under, Ryu followed with a birdie of
her own on the par-5 18th to match her fellow South Korean, good friend and
practice partner. Ryu, however, knew early on Sunday that she faced a difficult
task against the hottest player on the LPGA Tour. "I think everybodys scared of
Inbee because shes playing super well (the) last 12 months, even more, like 14
months," Ryu said. "... So, if her name is top on the leaderboard, she makes
everybody really nervous." In the playoff, which took place on No. 18, Park
appeared calm throughout -- finding the fairway offf the tee and nearly reaching
the green in two before chipping her third shot within 4 feet.

off the back of the green -- a chip she narrowly missed. Park then calmly sank
her birdie putt to end the tournament and once again find herself a winner. Its
a familiar spot for the player who has already become just the seventh player in
LPGA Tour history to win the first two majors of the season. She can become just
the second to win the first three next week at the U.S. Open. "When I was
playing the playoff, it just feels like a practice round because I always play
with (Ryu) on the practice rounds," Park said. "Especially having played in the
playoff a week before, I mean that really felt like normal to me that I (had) to
go to a playoff." Ryu, No. 5 in the world and 2001 U.S. Open winner, led at 12
under midway through the round. However, she four-putted the par-4 13th for a
double bogey. She pulled back to 11 under with a birdie on the par-3 17th before
answering Parks final-hole birdie on the 18th. Park looked every bit like the
top-ranked player in the world on Sunday. She began the day at 8 under, then
quickly jumped to the top of the leaderboard with Ryu after three straight
birdies on the front nine. Park also saved par out of a fairway bunker on the
par-4 ninth. Lewis began the day as the co-leader and local favourite, with a
gallery full of Arkansas fans following her every shot. But she stumbled with a
double bogey on the par-5 seventh. After driving in the bunker, she took two
shots out of the greenside bunker before missing a short bogey putt. Lewis
bounced back with birdies on the next two holes to once again reach 10 under.
She later missed birdie putts on 11 and 12 and was unable to get closer than one
shot, dropping out of contention after back-to-back bogeys and on 15 and 16. "Im
pretty disappointed," Lewis said. "You know, I had one bad swing on seven, but
really other than that I played pretty solid. ... I dont really know, going
back, what I would do much different." Lewis was ranked No. 1 earlier this year
after consecutive wins, a spot she vacated after Park began her run of success.
Its that same kind of success she hopes to take into next week. "The course is
just going to be the toughest golf course we play all year," Park said. "I
always love the challenge, so Im looking forward to that."
