Dan Bazinet has left his post as CEO of Birkenstock USA.The company said in a statement that Bazinet decided to leave the company to pursue new opportunities.Karl-Bernd Bremer, a managing director for Birkenstock Germany, has been named CEO to oversee all American operations. He will split Mbt Shoes his responsibilities between Germany and Northern California.The firm has also created a new role in the U.S. market: Birkenstock Shoes VP of sales and marketing. Jay McGregor, who has previously worked with Teva and Adidas, will assume that post.Bazinet was named to the top spot at Birkenstock last fall.
