Today, Nike officially unveils the Nike KD 10 (X), Kevin Durant's 10th signature shoe and the most advanced yet. Designed by Leo Chang, who has penned the KD signature series since its genesis, the Nike KD 10 features the most evolved basketball-specific Flyknit upper ever created. The Zoom-fortified midsole from the KD 9 and KD 9 Elite returns for the KD 10 with an all-new traction pattern on the outsole. The "Anniversary" colorway features a tonal light blue upper with a multi-colored Swoosh that honors all the major teams KD has played for – the UT Longhorns, Seattle Sonics, OKC Thunder, and Golden State Warriors. the shoe is indeed very similar to the Nike Zoom KD9 Elite. The KD10 features an updated entirely Flyknit upper with external lacing loops that provide adequate lockdown with proper stability. The shoe features the same Unlocked Zoom Air from its predecessor for great cushioning. New Jordans 2016, The Nike KD 10 design is not too far of a departure from the KD 9 and KD 9 Elite. The thick rope laces are exposed and the upper is built with Flyknit. The full-length Zoom outsole is identical to the KD 9 as well. The key upgrade that we’re all looking for in the KD 10 is that the shoes much be easy to put on; putting the KD 9 on your feet proved to be a task, although the KD 9 Elite alleviate that issue to some degree. That timing is perfect as it falls in line with the 2017 NBA Finals, where the Warriors are currently the favorite to represent the Western Conference. The Finals would be the perfect platform for KD to debut his new shoes; the last time he was in the NBA Finals in 2011, he wore a PE of the Nike KD 4. Flyknit advancements allow designer Leo Chang and his Flyknit engineers to create the most advanced Flyknit ever produced for basketball; a tour de force of the technological capacity mixing low stretch, high-tenacity (think seat belt) yarn at stress points and a high stretch yarn at the collar and across the forefoot. This blend yields a perfect balance of basketball-specific support and a sock-like hug. New Air Jordan Shoes, The next step in basketball is right around the corner with the "Pure Platinum" KD 10. Nike's latest design has been built to accommodate the gruelling on-court demands of Kevin Durant – fine tuning the style of its predecessor to perfection. The offical word is that the shoes will be releasing on June 1 from NDC, keep your eyes peeled. Ten years ago this month, Nike signed Kevin Durant and the skinny teenager almost immediately received his first signature shoe. A decade later, the risk has paid off with Durant and Nike designer Leo Chang writing a new playbook for developing a signature basketball line with authentic innovation and inspirations matching the athlete's own trajectory. Within Durant's course is a consistent, subtle refinement of pure basketball efficiencies and mechanics. This same path is mirrored in progression from the KD9 to the KD10. For one, the Flyknit construction is the best yet on a basketball shoe — engineered precisely for flexibility, breathability and support just where needed.
