It’s time to cross another shoe off the very short list of OG Air Jordans 2017 that have never been retroed. We now have our first look at the retro edition of the Air Jordan 13 Low “Chutney” that's releasing in 2017.Originally released in 1998, the "Chutney" Air Jordan 13 Low was an unorthodox colorway that foreshadowed the brand's future in more lifestyle-oriented product. The shoe features a black and chutney leather upper, suede paneling and metallic gold Jumpman branding. This year, the Air Jordan 13 is back again, ten years after their first retro. Three colorways released, including a "Quai54" edition, exclusive to Europe. In addition, Jordan Brand would release two Chris Paul "PE" editions from his time with the Hornets and a "Doernbecher" pair. Take a look at the history of the Air Jordan 13, from its first release up to the most recent retro, below. If a "Chutney" Jordan 13 Low is indeed coming in 2016, Sole Collector will provide info on when and where you can purchase a pair. There were images of a Cheap Air Jordan Shoes as well, and an extra photo on Twitter featuring the "Chutney" Jordan 13 Low.The original “Chutneys” were one of two low-top 13s to release in 1998. The other, the “Navy” colorway of the Air Jordan 13 Low, has also never been back, but is rumored to be a part of Jordan Brand’s plans for 2017.According to Jordan, these images are of a final sample of the upcoming retro, which is expected to launch this summer. We’ll provide more information as it becomes available. Two years later, the second retro run consisted of six colorways, including the "Bin23" Premio release, the first retro of the original "Playoffs" colorway and a commemorative PE for Ray Allen breaking the all-time three-point record. Additional runs took place in 2011 and 2014, the latter highlighted by the original "Grey Toe" sample. The sneaker's presence in the photo isn't necessarily a confirmation that a remastered version is coming, but it's probably not on a table of upcoming releases for no reason. The 2017 Jordans For Sale has some other colorways coming via a new white-based pair and the return of the original "Chutney."Jordan Brand's news today about upcoming remastered retro sneakers made explicit mention of a couple shoes coming back, the "Maroon" Jordan 6 and "White/Cement" Jordan 4, while being more coy about other ones.Originally released in 1997, the Air Jordan 13 dropped in seven colorways, five highs and two lows. They were also featured in Spike Lee's He Got Game on the feet of Denzel Washington's character, which inspired the 2013 "Black Toe" retro's nickname. As Jordan led the Bulls to a 70-12 record during his final season in Chicago, he would bow out a champion, winning his sixth NBA title and capping off a second 3-peat.The first retro run began in late 2004 and ran until summer 2005. High and low-tops for men and women were released, totaling 12 different pairs, including the limited "Altitude Green" colorway. Next up was the 13's inclusion in the 2008 Collezione "Countdown" Pack, alongside the "Shadow" Air Jordan 10 Retro.
