John J. 'Jack' Jenkins of Hainesport passed away Friday, surrounded by his loving family. He was 62.

Jack was born in Camden, and was <a href="http://www.coltsshopauthentic.com/shop-by-players-26-clayton-geathers-jersey-c-1_14.html">http://www.coltsshopauthentic.com/shop-by-players-26-clayton-geathers-jersey-c-1_14.html</a> a longtime Edgewater Park resident before moving to Hainesport. He was a dedicated member for more than 40 years of Hope Hose Fire Company No. 2, where he also served as vice president.

Jack was close with his family, loved his wife and children, and especially enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren. He was the owner and operator of Jenkins Electric in Edgewater Park since 1978. He also managed the Jenkins Building in Edgewater Park.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Harry <a href="http://www.officialchargesshop.com/shop-by-players-customized-jersey-c-1_11.html">http://www.officialchargesshop.com/shop-by-players-customized-jersey-c-1_11.html</a> and June (Kelly); his sister, June F. Dallmann; and stepdaughter, Jennifer Van Derryt. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen (Abrams); daughter, Coleen Hobaugh (Marty), son, J.J. (Kayle), and stepson, Scott Van Derryt (Lauren); grandchildren, Richie, Dayla, Jackson, Jamee, June, Wyatt, and Declan, siblings, Nancy Richards (Pat), Harry (Lynn), Michaelle D'Anna (Ed), and Bill Jenkins; brother-in-law, Ronald; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family invites friends to his viewings and funeral service. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, in St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Monument Cemetery.
