Air Jordans 2017 debuted in 1985 as the first signature sneaker developed by Nike for Michael Jordan. The Peter Moore designed performance basketball sneaker featured a simple Nike Dunk inspired design that incorporated the Nike Swoosh and the Jordan Wings logo and featured Nike Air. The black and red colorway of the Air Jordan 1 High was famously banned by the NBA for not adhering to the dress code. The Air Jordan 1 High was first retroed in 1994 and has seen hundreds of retro releases since.February has long been an important month when it comes to Air Jordan releases. For years All-Star Weekend served as the launch point for the newest Air Jordan model. Cheap Air Jordan Shoes is showing now signs of slowing down on original Air Jordan 1s and the next to be released is the "Metallic Red" colorway. Just last month, a first look at the sneakers surfaced, but now Foot Locker's Release Calendar is confirming the date.Previously released in 2009 using Jumpman branding, the "Metallic Red" Air Jordan 1 returns in OG form to join last year's "Metallic Blue" pair. The white-based sneakers feature red accents throughout, with a metallic patent leather being used on the ankle collar and Swoosh. An extra set of red laces will also be included.The "Chameleon" Air Jordan 1 Retro High pictured above is also lined up for this year. Spotted ahead of the official launch, the shoe is styled in white, black and green, the latter bearing what appears to be iridescent paneling.We've been led to believe that the black and red colorway of the Air Jordan 1 was banned 31 years ago.
