It also comes with thicker Flywire cables to add to a better lockdown fit. But Nike kept its original full-length visible zoom unit that's seen on the non-Elite KD 9. This Texas-themed Nike KD 9 features an off-White Sail Flyknit upper with Burnt Orange contrasting accents, along with the number "35" on the tongue stitching. The heel tab also includes "Texas" that stays true to the theme. The Nike KD 9 Texas is the first Nike KD University of Texas-themed official shoe to hit global retail.

The New Air Jordan Shoes a combination of burnt orange and white, the official colorways of the school. We see a white Flyknit upper, with hits of orange on the Swoosh, and tongue and heel branding. It's also the first KD University of Texas-themed official Shoe to hit global retail. While Nike has produced a wide range of UT specific KD's, most have been worn by the players at UT - this pair will be worn by the women's Longhorns squad in the upcoming Big 12 tournament. But there have been retail Releases of Texas-themed KD's. Most notably, the Nike KD 4 "Texas" that released at select House of Hoops locations five years ago. The colorway is gorgeous with the cream colored upper and gum rubber outsole. Throw in the dark red hits and You have yourself one sexy looking sneaker.
