LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Kings will try to avoid their longest losing streak in over six years on Saturday night when they open up a homestand against the Vancouver Canucks. Blank Sweden Soccer Jersey . The Canucks are a solid 10-2-2 in their last 14, but are coming off a 4-2 setback to the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday. Brad Richardson and Zac Dalpe scored in the Canucks second straight loss, while Eddie Lack yielded all four goals on 33 shots as Vancouver put forth a performance that disappointed head coach John Tortorella. "It was our worst game of the year," Tortorella said. "We deserved to lose that one. I just think it was a game that we were out of sorts, out of sync, and it wasnt just one particular guy. It was the whole team." Lack made his third straight start since Roberto Luongo suffered a lower-body injury on Dec. 22. However, Luongo will return to action after Vancouver sent goaltender Joacim Eriksson back to the American Hockey League on Thursday. Luongo is 14-10-5 with a 2.33 goals against average and three shutouts in his career versus the Kings, while Lack has faced them just once before in relief on Nov. 9, stopping 13-of-14 shots faced. The Kings have won the two previous meetings between the clubs this season and have split their last six at home versus the Canucks. The Kings have dropped five straight in regulation, capping a winless four- game road trip with Thursdays 5-0 loss to the St. Louis Blues. Martin Jones got the start between the pipes for Los Angeles, but was pulled in the second period after allowing two goals on 14 shots. Ben Scrivens stopped only nine of the 12 shots he faced in relief. "Were down on ourselves, but we cant be," said Kings defenseman Drew Doughty. "We need to pick ourselves up. We need to get that confidence back." After allowing just eight goals in winning the first eight starts of his NHL career, Jones has yielded seven goals in three straight losses. Scrivens, meanwhile, has not won since Dec. 2, losing three straight starts, as the duo is slumping in place of the injured Jonathan Quick. There is a good chance that Quick will return tonight from a strained groin that has sidelined him since Nov. 12. The Kings now begin a five-game homestand on their longest losing streak since dropping five in a row from Dec. 3-13, 2011. A loss tonight would give Los Angeles its longest skid since it dropped eight in a row from Dec. 12-26, 2007. Jose Pedro Fuenzalida Chile Jersey . Its sharpness matched my mind. Manuel was offered a position the day he was fired. He accepted earlier this week and the team made the announcement Friday. FRANKFURT, Germany -- Hamburger SV rallied to beat Hannover 3-1 on Sunday and plunge its northern Bundesliga rival deeper into crisis. In the late match, Shinji Okazaki scored two goals to pace Mainz to a 3-2 victory at Werder Bremen. Goals from Milan Badelj, Maximilian Beister and Hakan Calhanoglu ended Hamburgs two-match losing run and kept Hannover winless in seven games. Szabolcs Huszti had put the visitors ahead in the 28th but Hamburg fought back and quickly established control after Badeljs equalizer three minutes later. Hannover finished with 10 men following Salif Sanes second yellow card in stoppage time. The win helped Hamburg climb up to 11th, leading Werder on goal difference. Hamburg is one point and two places above Hannover, which is three points from the relegation zone. "We all have to understand finally that we are in a dangerous situation," Hannover goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler said. "We dont have to play beautifully but we have to get some points." Hannover got off to a promising start when Huszti punished mistakes by Hamburgs goalkeeper Rene Adler and Tomas Rincon. Adler kicked the ball to Rincon, who was surrounded by three Hannover players and ccould not control it. Fernando Muslera Uruguay Jersey. . Huszti took advantage to steal the ball and slot past Adler. Badelj replied quickly. Zieler punched a free kick from Calhanoglu outside the box, but Badelj fired a perfectly timed volley over the goalkeeper into the net. Beister put the home side ahead for good less than a minute into the second half with a diving header from Heiko Westermanns long cross. "We fought back well and deserved to win," Beister said. Beister turned provider for Calhanoglus goal in the 84th. Mainz profited from two bizarre mistakes by Werder goalkeeper Sebastian Mielitz early in the match. Mielitz came out far away from his goal in the seventh minute but did not go for Sebastian Polters long ball which Nicolai Mueller looped over the keeper into the net. Ten minutes later, Mielitz misjudged a high ball from Zdenek Pospech, let it bounce off the crossbar and Okazaki pounced to score from close range. Okazakis clinical finishing from a counterattack made it 3-0 in the 70th, before Eljero Elia and Franco Di Santo scored in the last five minutes to make the finish interesting. Bremen fell to its second straight loss, while Mainz won its second straight.
