MILAN, Italy -- Juventus drew 1-1 at bitter rival Inter Milan in their first Serie A clash at an electric San Siro on Saturday, while Napoli moved atop of the table with a 2-0 home win over Atalanta. http://www.chaussuresnbpascher.fr/new-balance-980.html . A dramatic finale at Torino saw AC Milan come from behind to draw 2-2 thanks to two very late goals, including another Mario Balotelli penalty. Mauro Icardi scored his first goal for Inter to put the hosts ahead in a fixture known as Italys derby. However, Arturo Vidal levelled almost instantly for Juventus -- as Inter conceded its first goal this season. "The match confirmed today that Inter can target the top of the table this season, and that Juventus is a team which is very tough to beat," Juventus coach Antonio Conte said after his 100th match in charge. "I saw my team play very well in a difficult stadium against a side that can compete in everything right to the end, seeing as they dont have European commitments. "What I liked best was the effort and desire to do well." Inter coach Walter Mazzarri was also pleased how his side reacted to the pressure. "I saw positive responses, which is a reason to be proud," Mazzari said. "Some of the lads felt the situation too much at the beginning, faced with the top team, in a full stadium ... "Are we a title-winning team? You only need two bad matches and everything changes. Its not time to make those judgments now." Inter took the lead in the 73rd when Ricky Alvarez robbed Giorgio Chiellini and burst forward before putting in a through ball for substitute Icardi to run onto and smash home -- sending most of the 83,000 crowd into a frenzy. Icardi scored three goals against Juventus for Sampdoria last season. However, Vidal levelled 80 seconds later, catching the Inter defence napping as he drilled Kwadwo Asamoahs cross into the bottom right corner. Juventus almost took the lead moments later but Carlos Tevez fired just past the right upright. In Naples, Napolis new signings were again on target to help the team maintain its 100 per cent record after three games. Gonzalo Higuain scored his second goal in as many games since his moved from Real Madrid, to give the home side a 71st-minute lead and Jose Callejon, who also joined from Madrid, scored his third goal for his new club 10 minutes later. Former Napoli midfielder Luca Cigarini was sent off in the 74th for a second booking for a bad tackle on Callejon. At Torino, all eyes were on Kaka in his first game for Milan since 2009 after returning from Real Madrid. The Brazilian wore the captains armband for part of his debut after Riccardo Montolivo was forced off injured. Milan appeared to be heading for its second defeat of the fledgling season after goals from Danilo DAmbrosio and Alessio Cerci before the game changed with a somewhat fortunate goal for the visitors three minutes from time. Torino goalkeeper Daniele Padelli punched the ball clear and Sulley Muntari scuffed his shot but the ball took a deflection and rolled into the bottom left corner. Torino thought the goal had been disallowed because Balotelli appeared to be offside and confusion reigned before it was awarded to much protest from the home players. Matters grew worse for Torino in stoppage time when Milan was awarded a penalty after Giovanni Pasquale tripped Andrea Poli. Balotelli, who has never missed a penalty in his career, stepped up to convert his 26th spot kick and snatch a point with the last kick of the game. "Four minutes from the end wed lost this, but the lads did well to believe," Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri said. "Torino played well, caused us a lot of problems and we left ourselves too open to their counterattacks. "We have changed some things in our system, so it takes time to rediscover our balance. At the moment we are too soft in defence -- by which I mean the whole team is not effective enough when defending. The Winnipeg Free Press reported that the Jets will have a future game at Investors Group Field, and that chairman Mark Chipman wants to hold it in 2016. General manager Kevin Cheveldayoff didnt provide any more details than what was in that report. "I think its a very exciting proposition," Cheveldayoff said Tuesday after the NHLs board of governors meeting. "Certainly lots of work probably needs to get done on it. I think its all very preliminary." Bettman struck the same chord, refusing to confirm the 2016 Heritage Classic in Winnipeg and saying the story "seems to hhave taken on a life of its own. http://www.chaussuresnbpascher.fr/new-balance-891.html. MINNEAPOLIS -- Two games into the season, and it is clear that Russell Westbrooks knee injury has taken the swagger and ferocity right out of the Oklahoma City Thunder. http://www.intermilanfcteamshop.com/ . The last team in the NBA that will have any sympathy for the Thunder is the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are showing signs of putting everything together after two years of devastating injuries. Kevin Love had 24 points and 12 rebounds and Ricky Rubio added 14 points, 10 assists and five steals to lead the Timberwolves to a 100-81 victory over the Thunder on Friday night. Nikola Pekovic had 15 points and 10 rebounds for Minnesota and Corey Brewer led a spirited defensive effort against Kevin Durant. Derrick Williams had 10 points and seven rebounds for Minnesota after not playing in the opener. Durant scored 13 points on 4-for-11 shooting and had trouble finding clean looks against a Timberwolves team that was supposed to be porous on defence. But the Thunder shot 35 per cent and turned the ball over 21 times to get run out of the building. "We can be very good," Love said when asked how good the team can be if it plays that kind of defence. "We can be very good. But Ive learned not to look too far into the future. I just want to take it day by day." After scoring 42 in the season opener against Utah, Durant scored his fewest points since Dec. 31, 2011 when he had 12 against Phoenix. Jeremy Lamb was the only other Thunder player in double figures with 16, and it has become abundantly clear very early in the season how much they miss Westbrook. "If they play one-on-one, I felt like I had the better matchup. But every time I caught it there was two guys guarding me, so Ive got to kick to my teammates," said Durant, who had four turnovers. "Ive got to make better decisions in that area." The Thunder offence has lacked its usual punch with the fiery Westbrook sidelined indefinitely. "Them not having Westbrook, thats taking away 25 (points), seven (rebounds) and six (assists) or some crazy number like that," Love said. "Its a whole different dynamic when they have Westbrook on the team. " Westbrook or no Westbrook, it was a bit of a statement for the Wolves, who enter this season with hopes of getting to the playoffs for the first time since 2004. They led by 34 points, allowing coach Rick Adelman to rest his starting five for the entire fourth quarter. The Timberwolves shot poorly in the first half as well, but they used some opportunistic defence and made good at the free throw line to build a 20-point lead. They made 18 of 19 shots at the foul line while Durant, Kendrick Perkins and Steven Adams piled up the fouls early. The Wolves, who figured to struggle on the defensive end this season without a true shot-blocker in the paint, forced 13 turnovers in the first half, which led to 19 points. "We know we can score," Rubio said. "But when we (play) defence, were a different team." Williams blocked two shots and the Wolves made Durant work for his touches while limiting his shot attempts. The Thunder star was just 2 for 5 from the field in the first 26 minutes, and it looked at times like he was deferring to his younger role players to try to get them involved. All it did was dig the Thunder a bigger hole. The Wolves offence got clicking midway through the second quarter with a 21-9 run that ended on a beauty of a no-look, wraparound bounce pass from Rubio to Pekovic in transition for a 59-37 lead. "Im worried about guys playing hard, competing hard and playing for your team every time down the court, and tonight that wasnt the case," Thunder coach Scott Brooks said. "But its early. Weve got a game right around the corner and weve got to play much better." NOTES: Timberwolves C Ronny Turiaf left the game in the second quarter after taking a nasty spill while fighting for a rebound against the Thunders Nick Collison. He was diagnosed with a right elbow contusion and did not return. ... The Thunder head back to Oklahoma City for their home opener against Phoenix on Sunday. ... Haas said he "felt a lot of pain" in his right shoulder when he slammed his racket to the ground in frustration after losing his serve at 3-3 in the first set.TORONTO - After falling victim to slow starts in each of the last two games, both losses, Raptors coach Dwane Casey hinted change could be on the way. "Weve got to look at our starts," said Casey, the afternoon following a 90-83 defeat to Miami, one in which his team fell behind by nine in the first quarter. "Thats the second game in a row thats happened." Toronto allowed the Heat to shoot 52 per cent in the first quarter four days after the Nets shot 60 per cent in the opening 12 minutes of Tuesdays loss. Despite a second-half push, the Raptors failed to dig themselves out of an early-game hole in both contests, prompting Casey to suggest that a change could be imminent as soon as Sundays game, at home to Denver, or in Oakland against Golden State on Tuesday. "Whether its a lineup change or a change in personality," he continued, "weve got to look at something to start the game because we cant expend that much mental and physical energy to fight against all the teams were going against, and thats what its been the last couple of weeks." The Raptors - who used 22 different starting lineups last season, sixth most in the NBA - have started the same unit in each game to begin the campaign. After experiencing some success on the floor together - specifically on the defensive end - towards the end of last season, the group of Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, Rudy Gay, Amir Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas has underachieved through 15 contests this year. That unit - the Raptors most used, both this season and last - outscored opponents by 85 points when they were in the game together a year ago, starting 21 of the teams final 25 games. They ranked third in the NBA in defensive efficiency among five-man units that played a minimum of 300 minutes together (only the Spurs and Grizzlies starting fives had a better defeensive rating). http://www.intermilanfcteamshop.com/Authentic-Rodrigo-Palacio-Jersey/. This season they are a minus-35, per NBA.com/stats, and are allowing opponents to shoot 52 per cent from the field. They have shared the floor for 229 minutes while the teams second most-utilized unit - Lowry, DeRozan, Gay and Johnson with Landry Fields - has played just 34 minutes together. As a team, Toronto has been least effective in the first and third quarters, with the starters playing the bulk of the teams minutes. The Raptors are a plus-three in the opening frame and minus-39 in the third. Their best quarter has been the fourth - a period in which the starters have rarely played together - where their plus-45 mark is third best in the NBA (behind only the Pacers and Thunder). "I think you have to look at the chemistry, skill set, what they bring to the table, a little bit of everything," Casey said of a possible change. "I dont question our guys fight. Its not that were not playing hard, its just not meshing together with the first group." Two starters who could be on the hot seat are Johnson and Valanciunas. Both frontcourt players logged fewer than 18 minutes in Fridays loss and have failed to meet lofty pre-season expectations overall. Tyler Hansbrough, who played 25 minutes and helped turn the game around in the second half with his physicality, earned praise from his coach following Saturdays practice and could be a candidate to replace either Johnson or Valanciunas in the event Casey decides to make a change. "It may be just a matter of time to let it go," Casey said. "Were still searching, like a lot of teams in the league are doing. Were not panicking but weve got to make sure we understand and we get the right group together." Toronto hosts the Denver Nuggets Sunday afternoon, concluding a season-high four-game homestand before heading out west next week. INDIANAPOLIS -- Trent Richardson wanted more work in Cleveland. http://www.teambrazilsoccer.com/Gabriel-Copa-America-Jersey/ . Hes about to get his wish in Indianapolis. Less than two weeks after being traded from the Browns, the 2012 first-round draft pick will be given more carries and a bigger role Sunday after starter Ahmad Bradshaw was ruled out with a neck injury. Richardson, who has been studying his playbook relentlessly, said hes ready. "Ive been learning the game plan every day and sticking my face in that playbook two hours after practice, an hour before practice, at the meetings and stuff," Richardson said. "Ive been studying hard so I feel like that work load, Im ready to go for it." The Colts (2-1) dont have much choice. Their original starter, Vick Ballard, went down with a season-ending knee injury before Indys second game. Bradshaw started in a loss to Miami and again last week against San Francisco, four days after the Colts sent a 2014 first-round pick to Cleveland for Richardson. Bradshaw responded with his best game since joining the Colts in June, rushing 19 times for 95 yards and a late touchdown. But he took a big shot early in the game. Initially, he tried to get up before falling to his knees. Coach Chuck Pagano wouldnt say whether that was the play on which Bradshaw was injured. So when the Colts practiced Friday, the only healthy running backs on the active roster were Richardson, Donald Brown, another former first-rounder, and fullback Stanley Havili. Indy could activate rookie Kerwynn Williams, a seventh-round draft pick, from the practice squad. Pagano wouldnt say if the Colts would do that or how the carries would be split up, only that Richardson has to be ready for more work at winless Jacksonville (0-3). "Hes got no choice," Pagano said when asked if Richardson had enough time to learn the offence. "David Walker is a great football coach and a great teacher. He did an unbelievable job getting Trent ready for last Sunday and hell do the same for this week. Between him and Donnie and the rest of the crew, well go down there and hopefully get the job done." Bradshaw wont be the only starter missing Sunday. Pagano said Pro Bowl safety LaRon Landry would miss his second straight game with an ankle injury, while defensive lineman Ricky Jean Francois was ruled out with a groin injury. Jean Francois left the San Francisco game early. Neither has practiced this week because of the injuries. Last week, Delano Howell replaced Landry and played well as the Colts turned in their best defensive game of the season. For Richardson, though, this is his first big chance to show the Colts he can be the workhorse back they expect. Last week, he carried 13 times for 35 yards and scored on a 1-yard run on his first carry with the Colts, and was brought in to help pass protect when the 49ers blitzed. This week, hell be asked to do even more, and Richardson cant wait. "I think every playbook runs some of the same plays as far as running, just with different terminology," he said. "Staying with that, youre going to have your inside zones, outside zones, your powers. But in the passing game, youve just got to know what youre doing." NOTES: Indy listed safety Joe Lefeged as questionable with a knee injury, and receiver T.Y. Hilton as probable with a toe injury. ... Three more starters -- linebacker Pat Angerer (knee), safety Antoine Bethea (toe) and centre Samson Satele (elbow) -- are probable. http://www.teambrazilsoccer.com/Thiago-Silva-Copa-America-Jersey/ . "It was nerve-wracking, but we pulled through," said Collaros, who threw four touchdown passes to lead the Toronto Argonauts (8-4) to a 33-27 win over the Calgary Stampeders (9-3) in front of 28,781 fans at McMahon Stadium. http://www.teambrazilsoccer.com/Lucas-Lima-Copa-America-Jersey/ . Burke is expected to miss two to three months after breaking a finger in the teams third preseason game. Tinsley, a 10-year veteran, spent the last two seasons in Utah, where the point guard averaged 3. http://www.teambrazilsoccer.com/Fred-Copa-America-Jersey/ .J. -- Pitcher Carl Pavano is retiring after 14 major league seasons. MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Vikings said Friday they will increase their contribution to a downtown stadium to more than $500 million to make sure the project has everything they want as construction of their new home rapidly approaches. The team had been scheduled to pay $477 million of the stadiums nearly billion-dollar cost. But bids coming in higher than expected made the Vikings worry about losing distinctive design features and having to settle for less than top-end technology, such as ribbon scoreboards and high-definition televisions in concourses. "The only options were to whack the project, cut significantly back in the building, step back and redesign and try to redraw to a lower number or have the team put in more money," team vice-president Lester Bagley said. "Thats what our owners decided to do." Reconfiguring the stadium design to significantly cut costs would have delayed the project by a year or more, officials said. The stadium cost could now top $1 billion -- with $498 million in public money -- if builders need to use the entire pot of available money. Legislators approved the new stadium to replace the Metrodome out of concern that the Vikings could leave the state. Ceremonial groundbreaking is set for early next month, with the projected opening in 2016. John Wood, a senior executive at Mortenson Construction, said fences will go up around the Metrodome next week and heavy equipment will be moved in. Orders for steel for the new stadium will go in soon, with some specialized beams for the see-through roof coming from Luxembourg. The Vikings play their last game in the Metrodome on Dec. 29, ending a three--decade run for the Teflon-topped stadium that has hosted the Super Bowl, the Final Four, the World Series and countless monster truck rallies. http://www.teambrazilsoccer.com/Alisson-Copa-America-Jersey/. . A three-month demolition phase will start in mid-January. The Vikings were closing on their private financing Friday. They are using loans, seat license sales, a naming rights deal and other private revenue streams. The Vikings extra contribution comes in the form of a letter of credit guaranteed by owner Zygi Wilf, a real estate mogul. The contingency would be tapped if construction officials cant find savings elsewhere. But the attempt to shave costs has been unsuccessful so far. Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority chairwoman Michele Kelm-Helgen said the rising costs are a sign of an improving economy. "The good news: Construction is up. The bad news is construction is up and some of our bids were coming in higher than anticipated," she said. Aside from the Vikings $26.4 million letter of credit, the team is also forgoing $15 million in breaks it was due to receive as part of a deal to play two seasons at the University of Minnesotas on-campus stadium during construction. Wood said builders will still look for cost savings as the project proceeds over the next three years. But he noted that 16,000 man hours went into designing and pricing out stadium features, so planners are confident they will keep to the budget, including the contingency accounts. "Its there to spend," he said. Overall, the materials and labour for the stadium will cost $763 million. The remainder of the stadium price tag goes for things like architecture, legal fees and insurance. "Its good to win at home," stated Coach Claude Noel. "Its been a while. We came out hard. Wanted to take advantage of their travel and the fact it was back to back games for them. Lots of emotion in the first period. The second lulled, and the third period was one of our better third periods. We played the right way, supported the puck." As for the first period power play goals, "You want results off a five on three. Tough when you dont score. It worked out good for us. Really helped us out getting two. We had a good offensive night from a lot of guys and had a pretty good night from every player." On two point nights for Scheifele and Trouba, "our young guys are good players. Theyve proven that. Mark has grown the way we thought he would grow. Proves there is a process, and it works. It takes time. Hes playing the way we and he thought he would." Not dressed for the Jets were Paul Postma, Keaton Ellerby, Anthony Peluso (game three of his three game suspension), Matt Halischuk, Jim Slater and Grant Clitsome.   Cheap Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys China Wholesale Jerseys ' ' '
