early June and the AL East-leading Boston Red Sox beat the Tampa Bay Rays 2-0 on
Tuesday night. Buchholz (10-0), sidelined by a strained neck, hadnt pitched in
the majors since beating the Los Angeles Angels on June 8. The right-hander, who
made three rehab starts in the minors, struck out Jose Molina with two on to end
the second. Jonny Gomes and Jarrod Saltalamacchia both drove in a run for the
Red Sox, who extended their lead over second-place Tampa Bay to 8 1/2 games in

Uehara got the final four outs for his 19th save. Reigning AL Cy Young Award
winner David Price (8-8) lost his third straight start despite giving up just
two runs and three hits in eight innings. The left-hander struck out nine. The
Rays, 4-12 since August 25, are leading the race for the second AL wild-card
spot. Price retired 12 in a row before Mike Napoli doubled off the centre field
fence to open the fifth. Gomes followed with a single that drove in Napoli to
put the Red Sox up 1-0. Gomes, who has 15 RBIs over his last 17 games, scored to
make it 2-0 later in the fifth on a sacrifice fly by Saltalamacchia that
required a leaping catch near the wall by centre fielder Desmond Jennings.
Saltalamacchia threw out a runner attempting to steal second in both the third
and fourth innings. Uehara replaced Tazawa after Yunel Escobar hit a two-out
double in the eighth. The Red Sox closer ended the threat by getting a foul
popup from Wil Myers. The right-hander has retired the last 31 batters he has

Torry Holt Jersey . - After spending the
morning in the hospital, Logan Couture gave the San Jose Sharks the spark they
needed.INDIAN WELLS, Calif. -- Canadian Milos Raonic missed his chance at his
first semifinal showing since last October as the 10th seed lost to Alexandr
Dolgopolov 6-3, 6-4 Thursday at the BNP Paribas Open. Raonic suffered a major
letdown 24 hours after knocking out world No. 6 Andy Murray, managing only four
aces and getting just one unsuccessful break chance on his Ukrainian opponents
serve. Raonic last played in the semis six months ago in Tokyo after winning the
Bangkok title. Given the political situation in his troubled homeland,
Dolgopolov appeared as the obvious Californian crowd favourite, with a Ukrainian
flag hanging in the stands over the empty seats of tournament owner and software
billionaire Larry Ellison. Raonics loss also prevented the 23-year-old from
Thornhill, Ont., from returning to a top 10 ranking on thhe ATP Tour.
Torry Holt Youth Jersey. He will move on now
to next weeks start of the Miami Masters, where he had to withdraw in 2013
before his third-round match due to illness. Raonic was broken in the second
game by Dolgopolov, who set the tone for the afternoon at the Tennis Garden. The
son of a tennis coach claimed the opening set in just 29 minutes. The momentum
looked to be turning early in the second set, when Raonic broke for 2-0 before
going up three games. But the determined Dolgopolov came back and won a marathon
eight-minute fifth game to break Raonic. Raonic saved four break points in the
game but double-faulted on a valuable game point before Dolgopolovs
down-the-line winner cur Raonics set lead to 3-2. Dolgopolov built from that
point, breaking for 4-3 and closing out the win on his first match point.
